    1. While I am not a fan of the Barbie series books (not much of a plot, dialogue, weak characters) my preschooler loves them mainly I believe due to the vivid illustrations and glamorous Barbie fashion and accessories. 1 Star from Mom, 5 from the kid, so we split the difference to 3 stars.

    2. Barbie has changed a lot since I was a kid - her face, her clothes, even her siblings (Skipper, where have you gone?) But it seems, based on this book, that some things never change. Barbie’s still as pink and girly as ever, and in this book, she introduces little girls to the lifestyle of ballet dancers. The usual ballet stuff is fully present- pink and purple tutus, sparkly hair accessories, the barre - and I’m sure little girls will love peeking into the locker room and the practice room [...]

    3. This children's picture book is about two girls in ballet class. They meet a ballerina and get to spend the day with her. The dance company ends up needing two more dancers for the show and the two girls jump in and get to be ballerinas for the day. This teaches children to follow their dreams and practice helps make perfect. This book was kind of lame to be honest but the name "Barbie" would attract a much larger audience and the illustrations are just like the movies. This book is probably for [...]

    4. This is a fun book that little girls would love to read. It is about Barbie who goes to a dance studio and gets to be in a professional ballet. It is every little girls dream come true. It is for children ages 4 to 6. It is perfect for new readers since there is only a sentence per page and has bright, fun pictures on each page. It was an enjoyable read.

    5. This easy reader is great for any little girls interested in ballet. It shows the work it takes to be a ballerina with lots of practice. It introduces basic ballet ideas. Barbie is still barbie in super glittery pink everything.

    6. Barbie and Teresa want to be ballerinas, so they attend a professional ballet class. At said class, they are chosen to dance in the play.

    7. Barbie goes through what is fun about being a ballerina and how it helps you grow and stay healthy/exercised.
