    1. Captivating! Fantastic 3rd book in the series. The story totally captivated me with excitement of the romance between the mermaid Addison and the Navy Captain Mason. Their chemistry and bantering was entertaining. The story's plot was more than romance, it had mystery and thriller elements when it came down to the blood shed between the humans and the rogue mermaid Queen Magaera. The mystery behind the stones that gave the mermaid's power was very interesting and their coldness in how they treat [...]

    2. My thoughts: Sirens Desire is the last book in the Dark Tides Trilogy. In Siren’s Desire we get a closer look at the youngest of the Lonike sisters Addison. Addison finds herself being recruited by the Navy to try to help with a comment enemy Queen Magaera. While the Navy wants to try to make peace between Queen Magaera and the humans, the Queen has other ideas. This was a pretty good way to end the series. Each sister has learned who they are, what they are capable of and finding an undying lo [...]

    3. Siren’s Desire, Dark Tides #3, by Devyn QuinnGrade: B-“Forget the tail part of me, okay? I’ve a much nicer ass.”Mason McKenzie has spent his life in the Navy and is finally a captain and in charge of a top secret mission that could make or break his career. The government has discovered a new island in the Mediterranean Sea that one day was just there and it is inhabited by the mermaid queen Magaera. Queen Magaera wants mermaids to rule the world again and it’s Mason’s job to stop he [...]

    4. I picked up Devyn Quinn's DARK TIDES trilogy to read in May when it was hard for me to concentrate on books with deeper plots. Someone who knew I liked mermaids gave me the books as a gift, not realizing that I'm not a big romance novel reader. When I was talking about how I was looking for a book that didn't make me think but took my mind off life, a co-worker jokingly recommended FIFTY SHADES OF GREY. While I didn't take him up on the advice, I did remember that I had a mermaid romance series [...]

    5. This is the final installment in the Dark Tides series and I thought it was a decent wrap up novel in terms of the overall series arc. I love the world Quinn created for the mermaids and she added some interesting history to the world in this book that I loved and wasn't expecting. As with Siren's Surrender, book two of the series, I thought the romance was lacking. There is so much development going on in the mermaid storyline that there wasn't really enough room for a super convincing relations [...]

    6. I loved the ending however I still yearn for more. I really wish she'd do a companion series on the Nix. I really feel for the Nix leader he needs a mer of his own. I wish she'd continue as other paranormal romance writers have by spinning tales of the side characters and turning them into the stars. I mean what about some of the mer girls and Nix. I really want their stories and how life changed once Addison became queen. I want to see them transition to eating real food ect. More more more ple [...]

    7. This is the third book in the dark Tide series of mermaids living both on land and in the sea. I have not read the previous two books and meet these characters for the first time. The Character of Addison Lonike could be developed a little more than it is. Although she is a strong willed woman I do not know her as well as the book describes her sister Gwen. Mason is a Navy Captain married to the Sea and his career. Both characters but especially Mason are weakened or injured often in the book. G [...]
