    1. This is okay, a bit forgettable. I found the characters, the heroine especially, a bit too modern in attitudes to be quite convincing for the time it's set. I liked the hero more and the exploration of the effect his experience in war has had on him. We'd call it Post Traumatic Stress Disorder now I suppose and it's interesting and sad to think how people suffering that way would have been branded simply as mad then. It does have a smashing cover mind. :)

    2. Unfortunately I lost my copy of this book and forgot the title of it, so I googled "romance book, Miss Penny, three sisters" first result xD Anyway, I'm glad I found it and I hope to read it again some day :)

    3. Love historicals where the hero is a soldier. This book from 2005 fit all my requirements. The back-story concerning poisoning of former soldiers moved the plot along. But the H/H were both endearing and interesting characters. A very good read~
