    2. I have read a couple of books now by Scott Rhine and thoroughly enjoyed both of them as can be seen in my reviews for “The Scarab” and “Foundation for the Lost”. Therefore when I noticed that “The Icarus Transformation”, one of his earlier novellas was available for free on Smashwords I jumped at the chance to pick it up.     3. This story was a little outside the genre I normally read so some parts didn’t quite hold my interest, though, I did like the plot line. The book is self-published but the writing, though not my favorite genre, is good enough that it doesn’t feel self-published. For those who like this genre, you’d probably like this book.

    4. My first novella from 1997.Several technology items ended up getting dated in the 14 years.I have updated these and the writing style a little in my next book "Jezebel's Ladder".
