    1. As I said at the start of my review for the previous book by Sandoval I had read – this is both the first and second time I’ve read this book. While this is the first time that I have read ‘Dreaming of You’ by Lynda Sandoval, I had previously read ‘Under Her Skin’ by Lea Santos June 2 2016. ‘Under Her Skin’ was released 10 years after ‘Dreaming of You’ and is a ‘regendering’ of ‘Dreaming of You’. As in, one of the main characters in Dreaming of You, Enrique Pacias the [...]

    2. This is the second book I’ve read by Lea Santos. I gave that first book I’d read a good solid five stars. This book here, ‘Under Her Skin’, seems to be closer to something between 4.65 to 4.85. Which doesn’t really mean anything. Even if we had half stars, I’d still rate this 5.This book is about a world famous model by the name of Iris Lujan, and about a gardener named Torien Pacias. Iris is of Mexican descent, though she’s at least third generation USAian (if not more) – given [...]

    3. This is book 2 in the Amigas y Amor Series series by Lea Santos. It's a short novel that is a quick, light read. This book was slightly more engaging than book 1 for me. I really liked the hard working, hot, gardener. That character was brought to life rather well and there was just a bit more of a connection in this book. But all the same, the writing style is not too deep or taxing, and provided the perfect mindless break from reality. Likable characters and maybe a 4 on the hot and steamy fro [...]

    4. **rereading the series now. So good for those times you want a feel good read** 10/28/13YAY!! Just finished the book and still smiling. It's not a mystery how it's going to turn out but what a wonderful journey. I'm just not sure why I waited so long to give this series a shot. If you like good romance, read these. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

    5. I spent a rainy afternoon reading Under Her Skin. For me the novel's biggest selling point is the touching sincerity of the writing and main characters. Things move a tad too quick for me and Under Her Skin almost seems to be over before it's even begun, but there's no denying the likability of both ladies and the way they respect each other. It's certainly worth spending cozy time on the couch for a few hours. Another plus for me: emotion and caring are never sacrificed for gratuitous sex scene [...]
