    1. Wild Wild Widow is my second book by Emma Jay and a thoroughly invigorating one at that. Emma Jay has a talent for creating beautiful characters and making their flaws work in a story that makes their inevitable happily ever after that much sweeter in the end.Wild Wild Widow caught my eye when Emma Jay's page on Facebook announced this book's release on . From the cover that first reeled me in to the blurb that signalled an unusual historical romance in the making, I had no qualms about loading [...]

    2. This is one hot novella, a sweet and sexy western historical.I bought this over a year ago and I found it floating around on my Kindle. This story is about a young widow, Rebecca Chatham who, in my opinion, was born before her time. Her husband left her penniless and she starts the book forced to live with her father. As it was back in the day, women lived under the rule of men. She gets caught getting somewhat frisky in public with another man and her father exiles her to her brother's Central [...]

    3. Hot,short read. Rebecca wasn't afraid to go after Judah. I'm glad she saw the error of her ways with the dress at the small wedding. Good little story.

    4. Satisfying This book did have all the elements needed to create a Western Romance. I found it a most enjoyable read.

    5. Wild, Wild Widow: A Western Romance by Emma Jay is an erotic historical romance set in a time when high society single women didn't go on dates without a chaperone. I'm so glad that chaperones were few and far between in late 19th century California, however, because that would have really spoiled the fun between the young Rebecca Chatham and the older Judah Merrill. After scandalizing the family in San Francisco, the young widow, Rebecca, is sent to live with her married brother and his family. [...]

    6. Rebecca Chatham a young widow forced to return back to her fathers home is caught in an indelicate position with her soon to be protector finds herself cast from her fathers home in the middle of San Francisco society in the 1800's; shipped of to her brothers rich in central California. She meets her brother Gabriel's Forman Judah Merrill and soon embarks in an affair with him, behind the backs of her very stuffed shirt brother and his even worse wife. This book was good plenty of loves scenes , r [...]

    7. A typical romance, but a good page-turner nonetheless. The story speaks of a widow, deprived of male companionship, and her need to adjust to ranch life. If you're ever in need of a saucy read, this book will do just fine. The endign could have been worked on a bit more, and if the book had been a little longer, I think it would have done even better. As it was, though, it was not a disappointing read.

    8. A good story but a little short. This could have been a great book if the author put more to it and expanded the story a little. The ending could have been more exciting but instead there was no fight or begging or anything. It really shouldn't have been called a erotic romance even though there was sex, it wasn't descriptive enough. But against all my complaining, it was a decent book that I am glad I read even though I don't plan on reading it again.

    9. I loved the premise of this historical romance as those are my favorite genre. Jay writes a beautiful story full of descriptive moments but in this one she refers to certain moments (Judah being a great ranch hand) but the elaboration is missed. I would have loved to have seen more character build up of the past. All in all the story was great, Jay tied in many loose ends and gave me an afternoon of fantasy and love. Kudos

    10. Widow Rebecca Chatham flaunts convention the way I think many of us secretly wish we could. Irrepressible, her ways don’t change just because she’s been banned to her brother’s isolated California ranch. Her shocking habits soon seduce Judah Merrill, foreman of the ranch. Playful and secretive, the sexual interactions transform the relationship into real changes in the characters. Fast, fun read.

    11. He turned her around. "Hold onto the saddle." Fun combination of western, romance and erotica. The heroine is strong, yet vulnerable, and matures enough in this short story to deserve her HEA. The hero is a typical stoic cowboy, but in all the right ways.

    12. This book is absolutely amazing! This book with make you never to put it down, trust me I read all 1200 pages in 8 hours! I most defiantly recommend this book to romance lovers and if you never read a romance before this is the one to read first.

    13. Some historical background that can give you glimpse of how people used to live. Story ok, quite a lot of steamy scenes (that is why it is called erotic).

    14. Reading on my Kindle. Traash! Trash! Trash! Read 2% and was already disgusted. Will be removing from my Kindle.
