    1. It was a touching story with great character development. I couldn't put the book down (turn off the kindle). I couldn't really dislike Gil and it was a good use of him as a ghost. Parts of the story were definitely predictable, but still a pleasant read. I can' wait to read more books by Michelle Beattie.

    2. Love by Accident by Michelle Beattie. This book captured me from the beginning to the end. The characters were so real to me that I could submerse myself in their feelings and emotions. I could share Lauren McKinnon’s feelings; her guilt, her self-recrimination,her grief over the past and her shock when Matt Skarpinsky appeared in her life again.Just as real were Matt Skarpinksy’s feelings of anger and betrayal toward her. I could feel his confusion, his grief, his loyalty to his friend Gil, [...]

    3. I've been a fan of this author since her "pirate" days but was unsure of her shift to contemporary romance set in Canada - but she did not disappoint. This book covered a lot more terrain than a simple romance - there is a touch if paranormal, well researched info on the Cdn Rockies/National Parks, wildlife and the complexities of sudden death/survivor's guilt and moving forward after a tragic loss. If you've ever been to Jasper you'll appreciate the landmarks and detail the author takes to desc [...]

    4. Love by Accident is a moving story of love lost and love re-found. It touched on a number of issues near to my heart and brought old memories back to the surface. I was moved to tears of sadness and tears of joy. I read it cover to cover; I was completely and totally unable to put it down.Beattie has a way of wringing emotions from the reader as they participate in the story. Yes, I said participate, you can’t just read this story; you become a part of the story of Matt, Lauren and Gil. Their [...]

    5. I enjoyed this book. It covers a lot about how different people deal with tragedy, heartache, and life differently. The story line was good, a little predictable at times but it flowed well. I thought she handled the ghost part of book well. It could throw some people off kilter and cause some people to put the book down. But I was glad to see that wasn't the case here. Gil was used sporadically enough and at the right moments to make it work.

    6. This, for me, was a fair read. As another reviewer stated, I had issues with the way Lauren left after the accident. That fact tainted the story, for me. Even though she explained why she did what she did, it was still wrong on so many levels.Do I recommend it? Let me just say I would not read it again knowing what I know now.

    7. I really enjoyed this book. a hero to die for, a heroine who has to face the most difficult situation possible for anyone and a love story who has to overcome the past to find faith in the future. altogether a great read.

    8. 3.5 starsThe book started as a 4 more for me and devleoped into a 4 then vaccillated back and forth. Sometimes I really got irritated at Lauren. If it wasn't for Matt, I think this would have been a 3.

    9. Love By Accident is a beautiful story of a woman learning to forgive herself and finding love in the process. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading more by this author.

    10. I was a little skeptical when I realized this was a "ghost story" of sorts, but I am so glad I kept reading! The dynamic between Lauren and Matt hooked me from the beginning, and I couldn't wait to find out the details behind the accident. I couldn't put this book down!

    11. Leuk boekje! Geen super schrijfster, maar wel leuk,.woon zoals Nora Roberts,Gelezen als Ebook, own als Ebook

    12. It's a spiritual romance story that gives love, romance and life worth living for. Cute read and its a nice summer reading

    13. This was a cute read with a slight twist in it (as there is a touch of paranormal). It's a quick read and a sweet romance story.

    14. Loved this read. Great story even though I normally don't like ghost, I couldn't help bring pulled into this one. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.
