    1. Ok - what to say? I'm rather proud to have read up to 70%, but then it was just too much. Too many names, too many people, to many uniforms, not enough Jeff and Sean, not enough story and plot. It started at the beginning with Rick - where is he after the first few pages? He got his POV and then simply vanished. And it moved on - why are there so many people mentioned, unless as a setup for sequels? And yes, they all have important professions, I got it after the first few mentions, no need to h [...]

    2. This was a nice enough story about Sean and Jeff. Sean and Jeff are an established couple but it has taken time for the relationship to develop because Sean had an abusive relationship before he met Jeff.Sean is rather nervous about meeting Jeff's family and the story focuses on how he gets to meet Jeff's family and the way in which the two men overcome that difficulty in their relationship. It is a nice enough story and just right for Christmas so I did enjoy it. Although I have to say I would h [...]

    3. I love Interracial couples, specially when one of them is African American. It is a very nice story, with a happy ending that I love so much in my M/M books. The 2 MC were adorable, although, as the story also focus in the family members as well as the MC's, we missed a lot on the main couple, as the story is too short, too many characters, too many things happening at once. In my humble opinion, it is to short to reached the full potential. However, I still loved it, and I wouldn't mind at all a se [...]

    4. I'm not sure how to rate and review this book.I didn't feel like the MC's were the focal point of the story, there were so many people and so many storylines going on and in such a short story. It was way too much, too many names and way too many marines ,cops, seals, soldiersl in the same family! What we did learn of the MC's, seemed interesting and I would have liked more of them and less of the rest!

    5. 2.5 StarsThere really was a lot crammed into this story, everything got in the way, a messy distraction, Jeff and Sean were drowned by other storylines. Lots of family members in the armed forces, too much going on. Not enough of the main couple, which looked like they could have been interesting.

    6. Too much information in a small packageThe premise is great, but it's a lot to deal with (the abuse, the interracial couple, the comeback brother, the diverse family) in a book of this lenght.

    7. I'm on the fence about whether or not to read this one.Interracial romance? YAAAAYYY!!!Established relationship? NOOOOOOO!What to do? What to do??
