    1. Misty Prescott goes back home to her parent's ranch after finding her husband cheating on her and that he's been lying to her the whole ten years of their marriage. She gets involved with two handsome cowboys and a suspenseful drama with a bad guy trying to buy out ranchers.e evil way.I read this only because I never give up on a book. This book had the same story line as so many others I read. There was no uniqueness in the book. I found it hard to believe how easily the woman character could j [...]

    2. Very contemporary. Misty's husband/soon to be ex-husband is a cheater and a liar.Dylan is home after his father was killed in a car accident. There is a rancher, Trent Montgomery, who wants Misty's family ranch and Dylan's family ranch. There is a smidge of love, romance, mystery, crime, happily ever after. Had the author focused on the love or romance or mystery or crime or happily ever after this would have been a BETTER book. One thing I will say, I haven't read a totally finished book, datin [...]

    3. I love a romance with mystery thrown in. Kimberly Lewis did that with her first ever novel, When the Heart Falls. This is a story of a woman betrayed by her husband and longing for trust and security. It’s about a man caught in the crossfires of a greedy rancher. Both find themselves walking the same path with their lives hanging in the balance as well as their feelings for each other. They discover a love as they discover dark treachery around them.I enjoyed how well Ms. Lewis described the em [...]

    4. myaddictionisreading.I love those kind of books where you just feel good after reading them. This was one of those for me.Misty's journey is really such a heartfelt one. I hated Vance, I loved Dylan. This is definitely a quick and light read. It had elements of Romance, of course, which was on the sweet side. It also had elements of mystery and action not much, but a little. If you are a fan of western contemporary romances than this book is definitely for you.

    5. It was alright for an author's first edition. I found some grammatical errors that were a little annoying. Using "too" where "to" should have been used and "onto" when it should have been "on to". In fact, there were a lot of places where a space between two words were missing. In any case, the story was really predictable. The characters could have been developed more. But overall, a quick easy read.

    6. Was a pretty good quick read, although I didn't find it to be extremely realistic. I couldn't help but feel like it was really missing something, though. I can't put my finger on it (potential spoiler alert???) - perhaps it was the lack of a real courtship between the 2 characters. Not sure. It was worth reading, though.

    7. I really enjoyed the story here. Such a great love story with some mild peril and suspense. The writing was well done and it had a nice flow to it. I loved the western setting. This book was filled with language though. Everything shy of the F word, multiple times. There were sexual situations although it mostly happened behind closed doors.

    8. GoodReally enjoyable book.Misty married her homeschool sweetheart who turned out to be not so sweet .She returns to her family after her husband cheats on her and she feels an attraction for two men but one is not all he seems to be.

    9. This was a terrible book. Just awful. The characters were shallow and cliched. And the grammar was non-existent. Does the author know what a comma is?

    10. There were parts of the story line that didn't get completed - like - what happened to Vance? There were some grammar problems also - maybe not edited as well as it should have been. Just OK.

    11. It was just ok. I wanted more romance, got a little too cheesy at the end. and some of if was just too far fetched.

    12. Super easy to read chick lit style book. Shallow character development and all of that but great for a filler book.

    13. Read this quite awhile ago, don't remember all the details, but do remember it was a good country romance book with a bit of suspense.

    14. Standard Western romance, enjoyed this couple and the "excitement" thrown their way. Quick and fun read if you like the genre.
