Out of nowhere, a man shows up in front of her door claiming that he will take her to her brother. She is confused to learn that her brother is mixed up with a cult and she will be the sacrificeOUGHTSI personally didn't connect with this story. I wanted to like it, but I felt detached.     2. So, it's not on the same level of my favorite series in PNR but, in my opinion, it was at least worth the dollar it costs on kindle. It was a bit short and while I didn't really connect with any of the characters, it was a decent little read. I would've enjoyed it more if there was more character development. Since this a novella, I'd probably read another of her books full length next time though.
