    1. Wolf shifter, Tobias & Lion shifter, ColbyTobias and Colby’ families don’t like the fact that they want to be together - although they are very attracted to each other. The problem is not that they are different species or that they are both same sex. The problem is that none of them is a protector. In a predators’ world, the scrawny and the weak simply do not survive. But these two are determined to be together and their love will be stronger than any doubt. A quick, sweet story. And [...]

    2. 3.0 Stars (would've been 4 stars but for)Ever since I met Colby, I've been waiting for his story. And, I was hoping that Tobias would be his mate. So I was excited about this installment. I really enjoyed both characters. Both are runts of their litters with overprotective brothers. Both have insecurities and issues they needed to overcome. I loved watching them navigate these waters. This book would've garnered 4 stars except, I had some serious gripes: 1) Russell - he totally betrayed Tobias w [...]

    3. While Colby and Tobias aren’t my favorite couple (my heart belongs to Shane), I do like both and was eagerly awaiting their story. When I heard it was getting pushed back 2 weeks, I was upset but I understood why the author pushed it back. I’d rather wait the 2 weeks and get a better book than get an inferior one earlier. That being said, I think she should have pushed it back another week or two. Why? The numerous grammar errors. At times it was difficult to get into the story because the e [...]

    4. This has pulled me back into this series, I really have loved all the different shifters. Yes,I find them all too short, but I can't keep away from the shifters. This story has been so well woven together.

    5. Warning: I adore the Lost Shifter Series, I’m one of those people that have loved the 1st book all the way through the 17th book and keep coming back for more. If you don’t like Hecht’s formula, or are just plain tired of the shifters then this book isn’t for you. I recommend reading a Very Shaney Valentine if you’re a Shane fan (ah Shane Shane!) but for those of you eagerly awaiting the next break in reality Colby and the Little Wolf was pretty good. With Hecht’s books readers have a [...]

    6. . I know I don't read Ms. Hecht's novels for anything stellar or awe-inspiring. I read because her novels are like crack, interesting plot filled with possibilities, it's just too bad the execution is not as good. And it seems that with each new Lost Shifters book, it gets worse and worse. Where is the editing? Where is the proofreading and consistency?? I was disappointed in this book. I give it 1.5 stars but I round it up to 2 because I'll probably continue to grudgingly read the next book. Li [...]

    7. 2.5 but I'll bump it up to 3 because I really do like this series.Unfortunately this one seemed to have even more errors. First with names being mixed up. then with the words, for example can instead of can't, really made reading this a pain. Then we had a complete change in a previous characters personality and mental state. I still enjoy this series, I just wish a little more attention was paid to the details.

    8. Why is there a wolf on the cover? T can't shift yet and I picture him as white wolf. I don't know why, but that's how I see him if he ever does shift.I really liked the story. T and C were cute and I'm glad they ended up where they did. My only complaint is the editing. Several words were missing, names were switched, or sometimes the wrong word was used. It distracted me and several parts i had to re-read to see what it meant

    9. A 2-3 star read. Liked the portrayal of these two smaller shifters in this big, bad world. They were both down-to-earth without being little Napoleons or needing the ginormous, kick-arse Alpha mate to protect them. A nice change. Those stars will probably be moving around. Also, exactly how big is the compound? It's like the Tardis. I think I need a map. Get on to that, Steph.

    10. Oh boy, I really love this story. Some readers complained about the numerous grammar errors.I can just say it is a real miracle that I learned to write and read in English as it is my second language, and I didn't even notice any grammar errors ;)

    11. This book is about Colby, Thomas brother, and Tobias, Russell brother, and if I'm honest with myself this is my least favorite book. When I was reading this the first thing that came to my head when I was in the middle was, "what is this Romeo and Juliet only gay version and the big brother are in the way and neither one die in the end, but it was pretty close though." I wanted to give this book a chance because both are lovable characters that needed to fight for there own but I can't cause the [...]

    12. This was a wonderful story of Tobias and Colby that has a strong chemistry with each other but their is something standing in their way families. This is a awesome MM read

    13. ** Mild spoilers? Perhaps? **Wow. The spelling is vaguely phonetic in spots.Repetitive again, so very much. Now, I understand that during writing information may be stated and restated as part of the flow, but that’s what editing is for: to clean up those redundancies. Any average reader shouldn’t have to be told something multiple times, such as how the pack hates Tobias and resents that he’s the second-in-command, due to being the alpha’s brother, and verbally picks on him. Leaving this [...]

    14. It feels like forever since I visited the Lost Shifters world and I've really missed it. There are so many things that I enjoy about this series and, let's face it, these are comfort reads for me. I'm fairly familiar with author Stephani Hecht's writing and her story lines progress pretty seamlessly. Shane and Andrew, main characters in other books in this series, remain some of my favorite all-time shifters, so I am always excited to jump back into their world.Ever since Tobias stepped onto the [...]

    15. From the moment they met, there was an undeniable attraction between Colby and Tobias. Even though months had passed since they'd seen each other, the sparks haven't dimmed one bit. When they finally met again, it was only natural that they end up horizontal on one of the coalition's more popular conference tables. Just as they are sure there is no doubt they are destined together, their older brothers intervene and tear them apart. Not because Colby is a Lion shifter. It's not because Tobias is [...]

    16. Colby and Tobias are both "runts." They are on the small size and there have been health troubles with runts. This makes them seem inferior to other shifters, some will just kill them as babies. I love that these are the two that get together. The plot makes sense in this world's context. These are shifters and they feel a little closer to their animal side so "only the strong survive" is a bit of a true motto. Colby and Tobias refuse to let that attitude drive them apart. They are not going to j [...]

    17. Okay, these two were adorable and their story was adorable and I don't even care how many cliches and tropes were in it because it was ADORABLE so just read the book. If you've gotten this far in the series you already know what to expect and this doesn't deviate from the established formula but Colby and Tobias areyou guessed itADORABLE.Russell and Thomas can have several seats though. Especially Russell. The way he straight up disrespected and disregarded Tobias when he (view spoiler)[ rejoine [...]

    19. A cute little story about two runt, Colby the lion who was stuck in his lion form and Tobias, Russel's younger brother. Of course Colby's family doesn't want him hanging around an ex-con (or sorts) and the jackals are after the wolf pack (even though they are out of the crime biz now). However Colby and Tobias find a way to get together with the help of their friends/body guards. I do get extremely annoyed with how over-protective and stupid the older siblings/caretakers tend to be. They treat e [...]

    20. This was a great book and lots of fun to read, i hated how there brothers treated them and attempted to keep them away, but i thought it was cute and funny how they snuck off to have sex and mate in the woods while there guards stood out of earshot, and i thought it was so sad what russell decided to do at the end when he decided to merge his pack into cris's pack, i thought it sucked hed no longer be alpha but more so it was sad that he had to swallow his pride to do so, and that he forced his [...]

    21. Notes:Agrees dusters are a bad fashion statement! Cool that's runt is second in command even though it's really just a title. He's more than capable. Very sweet. Excellent action and peril for such a short book. I love having two small guys together since in my experience people in general (not always but in general) tend to date people comparable in height and looks. I wish they'd kept Dulla "dumb." I like the idea of having a developmentally disbled shifter. 4.25 stars.

    22. Great StoryI love the storyline and the characters, but the typos and grammatical mistakes take away from the enjoyment. Using the wrong name for a main character is unforgivable to me. I have to stop reading go back and check to see if I made the mistake. It takes away the fun factor.

    23. This is my first Twink & Twink romance. Usually it's an Alpha + Twink or two macho men. I love both Tobias and Colby. Tobias is especially macho bad ass but people do not see it because his brother Russell is very overprotective and coddles him. This is the cutest!!! I love how they moved in with the felines in the end. Aw

    24. This is one of my guilty pleasure series.I pretty much know what to expect, including typos, wrong names and word choices.Still, I like Colby and Tobias , and I liked that there wasn't a big tall strong alpha and a weaker, smaller mate. That made for a nice change.

    25. I'm giving 2,5 stars because it was to bland and simple. The storyline was boring and I was glad it when it finished. I was a bit disappointed because Colby seemed interesting but with such a plot, he became one of many.

    26. Im continuing with this series on and off. I read other books, but in the end i always come back to it, because it's so freaking addictive and adorable and i love these guys. They are almost like my own family. :)

    27. This is one of my favourite books in the series, because both of the are 'runt's it give a different perspective compared to when they are both physically built or where one is and not the other. For this reason I would love more books like these two characters or more books about these two :D

    28. I love the over all Lost Shifters series but I had to give this a low rating as it was just so blah and very very short. I'd downloaded it to read on a flight to Seattle from New York and I had it finished before I even got on the plane. Hope the next few books have a little more meat to them.
