    1. Although this sort of pursuit is no longer very popular these days, this is still a great collection of Latin, Germanic and Celtic parallel material. The collection includes passages from Latin texts, such as biblical hymns, commentaries and saints lives. The Germanic and Celtic volume includes Norse poetry and saga, Old High German poetry and Welsh medieval poems.
