    1. Bullet Review:DNF at 7%Never trust a book where the main character's name is literally "Fallon Angel" and the prologue has her dying, going to "heaven", and IMMEDIATELY choosing her angel "caste" (this quite literally happens in less than 2% of an already short book - I want to apologize to "Divergent" for all the thought and analysis that comparatively went into that test!).Writing is so juvenile - I can't make it further without dying of laughter.

    2. I didn't hate this--but I couldn't finish it because it was so juvenile. The writing was certainly basic, and left a lot to be desired. The prologue just annoyed me. So Fallon is dead, and then is scooted through Emperica or Heaven--then for what ever reason, she is an angel and apparently she caught on to this somehow? Because there was no sign of her being angelic. Anyway, she is then told she needs to choose between castes of Angels, without being given time to make an informative decision, a [...]

    3. This book was a wonderful idea that was poorly executed. It's an incredibly short book which makes the entire story rushed and unsatisfying. By the end I was just frustrated by the writing style, especially the dialog, the rushed plot, the nearly non-existent back story and the lack of character development. What we do know about the characters isn't enough to make you care about them. The only thing that kept me reading was my refusal to leave a book this short unfinished. Perhaps the character [...]

    4. Rating: ☆☆☆Narrated by Angela Grayden: ☆☆☆When I started listening to this book, it took me quite a while to become engaged in the story. Both the book and the narration felt a little flat. It’s a short book so it seemed a large amount of the story and background was just kind of thrown at me in the first half. On top of this, there’s an insta-love situation thrown in, of which I am not a fan. The story just seemed like it could have gone somewhere great, but was flimsy and hard [...]

    5. As an angels and demons book, this one's pretty good. I've read a few and many seem to draw away from the Christian theme, but this one seemed to embrace it. People who die are guided to heaven (Emperica in this story) and welcomed into the arms of the Creator. There, they are free to choose one of four callings, one of which strips the angel of their wings and sends them back to earth to battle the evil Kjin (or demons) and protect people from them. This is the calling that Fallon chooses when s [...]

    6. I could not put this 5 STAR book down – I read it in one day! “I’m just going to read one more line…” (YEAH RIGHT!) One more line turned into the whole book. It was just sooo good! It was a YA Paranormal Romance. I think EVERYONE should be checking out Valerie Zambito’s books right now! I cannot wait until the second book in this series, “Angels of the Knights – Blane” comes out because I will most definitely want to read and review that one too. I also added her “Island Shif [...]

    7. Good start to a series. I know the books are companions but I hope to see these characters again.

    8. DescriptionWhen Fallon Angell died at the age of sixteen, her life changed forever. The hallowed world of Emperica is everything she had ever hoped for as a mortal—immeasurable beauty, unconditional love and light. But, with affection for humankind still burning within her, she joins the Knight Caste to train as an angel warrior. As a Knight, she will give up her wings and return to the place that killed her to use her unique powers to search out and destroy the evil Kjin that roam the earth. [...]

    9. When I was first offered the chance to be part of the blog tour for Angels of the Knights-Fallon, I jumped at the chance, because I'm always up for a new angel themed paranormal. Thankfully, the overall story was interesting as well as beguiling. However, I did have a few tiny problems with it.Let's start with the characters. From the first page, I was enchanted by Fallon's story. I couldn't wait to find out more about her life as a Knight (aka angel warrior). Her back story was sad yet it added [...]

    10. I ate this book up! I throughly enjoyed the authors style of writing and the new premise this book had. It is the story of Fallon, a sixteen year old girl who, during a home invasion is killed, along with her parents and brother. Fallon dies at the hospital and passes on to Emperica, or what we call Heaven. Here she is able to choose to be one of four types of angel: a patrit, a sentinel, an aegian, or a knight. Knights are, after extensive training, sent back to earth to rid the world of Kjin, [...]

    11. 2.5nobentspines/ This is gonna be a quickie review people.Ahh insta-love at it's finest. As soon as Kade sees Fallon, he's in love. No, I'm not kidding. He freaking proposes to her a few days after meeting her. Hahahahaha. Uhm. I'll pass.Fallon dies and becomes a protector of good on earth. She get's her wings chopped off and declares that she will be loyal to serving good for as long as she can possibly can. This assignment is different than the others because she is not only the hunter but the [...]

    12. This was a really fun twist on the whole angel/demon thing. Fallon is a strong female lead, very fun to read. Her first love, Kade, is a poor guy who is coming to terms with her being a kickazz chick with a strong sense of right and wrong. He does a fine job of trying to be the man she needs in the midst of killing, twisted family ties and well, that whole she's really an Angel. He has things to learn about himself as well which made their connection a way too fast, crazy bit of love at first si [...]

    13. DNF 55%Fallon lost her life at the age of sixteen. She is now a Knight and an Angel and her job is to kill evil Kjins from roaming freely on the surface of the earth but when her path crosses the one of Kade, she finds herself being torn between love and duty.I have never read a book with such juvenile writing. It was so painful to read. Seriously, what's up with the instalove? Fallon just met Kade and she's like " OMG I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. I FEEL THE CONNECTION. WE ARE TOTALLY MEANT FOR EACH OTHE [...]

    14. I enjoyed this story immensely but I felt that the relationship between Fallon and Kade progressed way to quickly, don't get me wrong there relationship was really cute and of course I was rooting for them to be together its just that it did not grow as it should have. Their relationship was completely rushed I mean honestly if anyone says "I Love You" when you've only been dating for a few days you wouldn't believe it, I wouldn't believe it but like I said their relationship was completely ador [...]

    15. Wonderous story! This author has given us a glimpse of what it might be when we get to heaven. The story is plausible and richly detailed, and I'm SERIOUSLY looking forward to reading more of her books!

    16. I just picked this free e-book while waiting to decide what to read next. It got me hooked from beginning to end. I will definitely buy the rest of the books in this series.

    17. Angels and demonsI was surprised by how much i liked this story. It was too fast in some places and i wish there were more details, however, it didn't take away from the over all book. Great Read 👍

    18. Unfortunately, not convincingI liked the story and the idea of warrior angels on earth however, I found the characters not convincing. I would have liked to learn more about them and their history and I found their change towards believing into the unbelievable thing with angels and demons much too fast The love story involved and the fight between good and evil kept me reading though.

    19. Fabulous Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Can't wait to read book 2. Very well written and kept you eagerly turning the pages. Excellent. Thank you.

    20. WOW. Let me start by saying this was a new concept for me in the supernatural/paranormal realm and boy it didn't dissapoint! This book had so much in it! Loyalty, love, acceptance, sacrifice! I loved the angel demon play and the human involvment! I absolutely fell in love from the begining! This book will have you begging for more and yet feeling absolutely okay with how it ended.

    21. I have had this book for a while sitting on my desk and decided I needed to pick it up. It was an easy couple hours of reading. This story is a little bit of a twist on Heaven and Hell, angels and demons and the fight for good!We start off with the death of Fallon in 1978 at the age of 16 along with her family. She goes to Heaven or Emperica as it’s called in the book. She learns that she can choose what kind of angel she wants to be. There are four groups or castes of angels; Patrits (or Patie [...]

    22. Review first featured on my blog: my link textAngels of the Knights isn't your typical fallen angel book. These angels choose to come to Earth and fight the Kjin. They are warriors fighting demons to save the human race. When Fallon and her family are killed she is taken to Emperica, aka heaven, and decides to become one of the warriors. Once her training is finally over she is sent to Earth to fulfill her destiny. Fallon is such a strong character and fights with all her strength against evil, [...]

    23. My review:Angels of the Knights by Valerie Zambito was a very nice surprise. It was quick paced, well-written and with fascinating settings! It's a page turner which you don't want to put down and I am looking very much forward to Valerie Zambito's upcoming releases. The story starts with the heroine Fallon dying during home invasion. She wakes up in Emperica as an angel and when she is faced with the choice which Caste to pick out of four: Patrit, Sentinel, Aegian or Knights, her choice is very [...]

    24. I really, really enjoyed this book. Was such a change of pace from some of the previous books I have been reading. Valerie really did an amazing job writing this. I was hoping for something epic, after having read the description and you really do end up getting a really epic story. I was actually really surprised just how exciting and action pact it turned out to be.The story was insane, it start's off with the murder of Fallon and her family. And this is where the story takes a really strange [...]

    25. The first thing I have to mention was that I found myself whipping through this book. Zambito does a good job of keeping the pages turning. I finished it in 1 day. And if you've read anything else on my blog, then you know I love anything fantasy, so angels and demons on my won't-hesitate-to-read list. Although there are a few dark points to the story, for the most part it's light and uplifting. I think with the fast pace of the book, there were parts when the dialogue wasn't as strong as it cou [...]

    26. Angels of the Knights: Fallon was a great beginning to a new series by one of my favorite authors, Valerie Zambito. The book is about a girl named Fallon. One night, people break into her house and murder her and her family. She becomes an angel who is determined to stop all of the evil demons on earth, the Kjin. The caste system in heaven was a little confusing to keep straight at first. However, once it was explained more thoroughly I picked it up quickly. I thought it was cool how Fallon's fu [...]

    27. Always a fan of supernatural and a true believer in Heaven. This book brought the best of both worlds! So original and totally unexpected!! Edited: this author defiantly takes her passion seriously**. And oh how I loved the story! And how appropriate to finish in the wee hours of Easter morning as the book returns an Angel from Heaven! Knew there was a good reason that I could not put this down!!! That being said I do think that some of it could have been better executed. More if the Fallon back [...]

    28. I wish I could have given this 3.5 stars. The story is an essentially Christian story. Although Christ is never mentioned by name, there are Biblical references in the book. While there are a lot of things that didn't fit my own personal beliefs, I'm not offended by others'. When I first started it, I loved it. While not like Twilight, (no vampires), it seems like the kind of book many Twilight fans would enjoy. However, the ending kind of ruined it. Not that it was a bad ending per se, but the [...]

    29. Okay I wasn't really going to read this book yet (it was on the TBR list but not high up) Well I grabbed it today by accident and headed off to work (I had just won the book and it was on top) I try not read a lot of good v. evil when I am writing about hell and such myself, and angels, never really my thing. I love the idea of angels, and fallen angels, and well more angels, but never really found a book that caused me to read it in 1 day. (Though I love books and love angels combining the two [...]
