    1. I found Heart Song to be an enchantingly magical and heart-stoppingly enthralling story of how love can bind, transform, and strengthen two people and even entire groups of people if given generously and guided with wisdom. What a beautiful example of how we should love and treat each other! While these characters were just as flawed as we are, their ultimate intentions were full of hope and promise for how they wanted to change the world around them. I wonder how our world would change if we ha [...]

    2. Samantha LaFantasie has a lot of potential as a writer and it shows in Heart Song. She has that which cannot be learned: creativity and imagination. She creates an engaging world with a plot that starts with a bang as the main character, Relena, is running from those that would lock her up and do terrible things to her.I truly enjoyed the story and, throughout most of the book, was driven to know what would happen next. The world she creates blends the paranormal with that of the more world-buil [...]

    3. Heart SongBy Samantha Lafantasie A meeting of mortal and immortal worlds, Heart Song has an otherworldly feel to it that draws you in almost against your will. Relena and Marren share a heart song, a kind of mystical bonding that isn’t explained at first but as these two spend more time together, albeit with Relena as his prisoner it becomes almost seductive. There are dark forces at play however that seem destined to keep them apart and so we’re sucked into this world of fantastical creatur [...]

    4. A world of mortals and immortals--separate, yet poised to collide with one another, and at the center of it all stand Marren and Relena who share a Heart Song.I enjoyed the mix of romance, fantastical elements, and the time Ms. LaFantasie took with the cultures and races of her world. The heroine is a young woman, Relena, who is shunned by her community and even her own father. With such a hurtful past, it's difficult for her to open up, especially to the handsome and dangerous Marren. When he r [...]

    5. The character pulls you into this well crafted book when a young girl dashes away from a group of men who are intent on harm. We see right into her thoughts, smell everything around her in the forest and feel her heart beating. This bonding with the character gives the reader a chance to experience everything she does as she slowly changes form a girl into a woman into a I won't give away the plot, but it's seamlessly done and completely believable although out of the normal human experience. [...]

    6. From the first page there was so much action and anxiety that I knew I wouldn't be able to put it down. I loved that there was a good mix of action and tension and romance. It was also really nice that the book went full circle and you got closure at the end. I didn't feel like I had a ton of questions at the end which was a nice change.

    7. Loved this book from start to finsh. Most books are slow to get going but not this one. It had me hooked from page one. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future!

    8. Thisis one book that I highly recommend to those that love fantasystories. The author Samantha Lafantasie is definitely a perfectionistand excelled extremely hard to bring this book to a completed workfor her readers. Even though this book is fictional/fantasy theauthor wanted many aspects of this book to be original and sheresearched hours upon hours of materials to bring this originality toher readers. Not only that, but she even used some of her ownheritage and culture to bring this story to [...]

    9. I'm currently beating myself up for not being able to read this book sooner. Samantha LaFantasie has just transported me to a magical place where rules aren't made to be broken but must be adhered to, or else, blood will flow & immortals will be doomed. Relena & Marren found each other in this realm, they are each other's heartsong. What Marren feels, Relena also feels. When Relena cries, Marren feels the pain. They bound themselves together & was blessed with a daughter. Then came w [...]

    10. This book was absolutely AMAZING! There are so many Werewolf/shifter books out today and quite frankly I usually just pass them up anymore because they all seem like the same ol boring thing over and over. Heart Song IS NOT just like all the other shifter books though, it is so much more. It is completely unique to anything else I have ever read, shifter wise. I have to admit that it put me through quite a bit of stress. I was so hooked that I didn't want to stop reading because I wanted to find [...]

    11. OkI generally don't read this genre, but this story was ok. It wasn't too far out crazy that I stopped reading, rolling my eyes, and throwing my Kindle. So that's a plus. I liked the characters, but the drawn out drama between the two mains was way over the top. I liked how she runs always but always comes back, but in most other instances, the drama could have been seriously edited. If course there were the usual subject v verb errors and other grammar errors most common in self-pub books. I'm [...]

    12. Ms. LaFanatasie has certainly lived up to her name. She knows how to write a great fantasy novel. Each of the characters were deep and you could feel for them, especially Relena and Marren. Even Jiren, the antagonist, is very unique for a vampire. This book takes you on an adventure in both the mortal world and a world filled with supernatural creatures. I have to say my favorite part is the love story as it's not played out like a lot of other romance novels. Most will focus on the build up, ho [...]

    13. I'm the author of this fine specimen of literature. To say that it was 5 stars is a bit biased. But is letting me rate and review my own book, so why not?If you love fantasy with a good dose of romance, check this out. I've created a vivid world with 3D characters mixed into a high stakes plot that takes you through a unique take on werewolves, magic, and love. I'm very happy to say that so far, Heart Song has been well received. It would honor me if you took the chance to read it and share you [...]

    14. I loved the storyline. Finding out about the "heart song", makes you believe in true love. The relationship between Marren and Relena is something you feel for the both of them, how they feed off each other's emotions. The parts that you don't think will be important later are. Enid and Dast are two of my favorite characters. It is sad about a little more than halfway, that will have you crybut not for long because it just gets better. I love the storytelling, the Gaelic and Cherokee languages u [...]

    15. A fantasy world deeply imagined and described in palpable detail. An indestructible love between the heroine and hero set against the background of two competing cultures vying for survival. In feisty young Relena is embodied a threat to the status quo, so she must fight not only for herself and for her true love, but also for peace between two worlds. I was rooting for her all the way, and for her elusive and unnerving Marren. And I learned some new things about werewolves!

    16. Wow. I'm not believing most of these reviews, especially the ones that think this book was well written. If I could give it negative stars, I would. I couldn't even finish it, and I am a stubborn reader. It was so badly written it didn't even make sense. There was no connection between the events in the book, or memories. There wasn't even much character development. Ugh.
