    1. This is the first book I have read by this author and it wont be the last. I knew from the first page with the under 18 warning which really tickled me, that I was going to love this book and I did.Colin is the hunky mayor who's life is sent into a bit of a spin especially after he meets Evie. They both very nearly sizzled off the page. Could have used a fan in one or two places.I loved how the author combined red hot S** with suspense and a perfect ending. I'm really looking forward to the next [...]

    2. Interesting concept, I especially liked the idea of the small town community but the execution didn't win me over. Between the exaggerated times the main couple had sex even while dealing with serious issues and the lack of character development I can't say what I liked less. The suspense parts were too obvious and didn't blend in to the plot. I can't say if it's too many ideas and not enough space (book is small) or if the characters simply weren't explores well.I don't know if I'll read more b [...]

    3. This book started out well. I liked the heroine but she became an idiot after meeting the "hero". Considering that she is still recovering from a scandal and getting shot twice, I didn't buy the romance. The hero is also an idiot.

    4. i love this book. Colin lives his life with no apologies until someone decided to make him sorry.I laughed once i figured out who the villan was. I thought I had her pegged from the beginning, it was nice to see the guy was not predictable

    5. Bright's Ferry #1Evie comes back to Bright's Ferry for the first time since she was a young child in the hopes of reclaiming a life that had fallen apart around her in New York, where she'd fallen prey to a bad decision when she trusted someone she thought she was in love with…Colin is the youngest mayor that Bright's Ferry had ever seen, not to mention possibly the best looking & most randy. When sparks fly from their very first meeting, Colin has to wonder if he truly is as commitment ph [...]

    6. Loved the premise of the story. Fast and enjoyable read. Only problem I had was that the author gave us a supposedly strong, independent character (NYPD cop)who wanted nothing more to do with men controlling her life, then wrote her doing the opposite. She fell for a guy based on his looks (shallow reason) and became submissive to his demands the first time he touches her. To me, this weakened the character and I lost my emotional attachment to her immediately. Could have used a little more play [...]

    7. Intriguing, lots of dynamic for the plot and characters I enjoyed it, though the editing was not good I found many errors.Evie just wants to start over, but being the daughter of a small town murderer makes that tough - even if you were too young to be a part of the scandal. She has no choice but to try and fit in, since she's been involved in an adulterous scandal with her superior back in NY. Hopefully Bright's Ferry won't hold her mother's mistakes against her

    8. Loved it. Fantastic storyline with sizzling Sex scenes. Loved the language used, the twists. Almost seemed predictable until right near the end which I loved. Characters were easy to like. Grammar and such was spot on. Only found one issue and it was just an incorrectly chosen word. Would recommend to friends etc.

    9. A few grammitical errors, but if you can get over that this book has it all, a great story line a characters you will fall in love with.

    10. Just couldn't seem to get into the characters. All they could think about was sex. The rest of the story was minimal at best,

    11. Loved the mystery and drama! Great storyline and characters! Evie and Colin are very likeable characters with a story that makes you want to keep reading! Really enjoyed this quick read!
