    1. An ARC of this book was provided to me by the author in exchange for a fair review. This is a fair, honest review. As one who suffers from chronic depression and Generalized Anxiety Disorder, I'm very thankful that someone who suffers from these problems has written such an honest, moving Young Adult novel. Teens need to know that others have experienced the same things they are going through and that there is hope. Lindsay Paige has written a book that is painful to read but is beautiful in its [...]

    2. YA author Lindsay Paige is back with her newest novel, ‘Don’t Panic’. Samantha, the heroine, is a high school student. Sam has begun to experience strange symptoms. Trembling hands, sweats, & nausea appear out of the blue. After one such occurrence, she runs to a nearby restroom to escape. Teachers are less than supportive & her mother doesn’t believe her symptoms are real. When a boy she’s never met follows her into the restroom, finally, she feels as if someone understands. [...]

    3. Lindsay tackles a real life problem in "Don't Panic".xiety. A nice fast read that will hook you in from the start. A fast read, but important read for those who suffer or know someone who is suffering from anxiety attacks. Lindsay hits the nail on the head with her descriptions to the point where I could feel what was actually happening. Highly recommended for all readers. This review is based on a complimentary copy from the author which was provided for an honest review.

    4. I picked up a signed copy of Don't Panic from an author event recently. The cover caught my eye and after reading the synopsis, I had to check it out. The story got into my head right from the beginning and had me going through the motions of a panic attack right along with Samantha. The writing was so vivid that it was as if my own pulse was racing and my palms sweating. The cycle of her behavior with Eli and the panic attacks did eventually begin to feel a bit redundant, but that also helped t [...]

    5. I have never been exposed to a Lindsay Paige work before reading Don't Panic. What attracted me to this book was its cover graphics and its subject area - anxiety attacks. I have had friends who suffered from this disorder, so I was glad to delve into it more. The book's lead Samantha is suffering from severe panic attacks. Though I felt pity for her situation, there were times when I felt her attacks were not described well; therefore, the book became uninteresting. However, this changes as Sama [...]

    6. i got this book from the author in exchange for an honest reviewis book was a really good book. it was really sad because there are a lot of teens around the world that are suffering from this problem and parents are not aware that this is a huge problem.Samantha is a great student. She has good grades a lot going for her. Lately she struggles with everyday tasks like school. the very thought about waking up and going to school makes Samantha's chest tight and she feels like everyone can hear he [...]

    7. Don't Panic is a book centered on a student named Samantha Branson who suffers from severe panic attacks.Don't Panic was a book I found during my searches for YA books concerning this subject because I'm a panic attack sufferer and I was desperately looking for books covering this subject. This was a book I could completely relate to in every possible way.1.Samantha's mom being such a careless mom thinking she was just pretending to stay home.2.I also was a good student that because of my panic a [...]

    8. This is a new young adult book from Lindsay Paige in which she tells the story of Samantha, a girl who suffers from severe panic and anxiety attacks. The attacks are so extreme that she is missing school and isolating herself from friends and family. This is a very real medical condition for many of us, and Samantha is having a hard time accepting it and finding help. Her mother also believes that she is making up the symptoms to avoid school. She finds her salvation while hiding out in the rest [...]

    9. Review:Don’t Panic is a very good read that covers a subject that is finally getting the attention it deserves: anxiety. When some people hear the word they think of nervousness and just being fidgety. Maybe some sweaty palms, physical traits like that, but as Lindsay greatly points out, it also has to do with what is going on mentally. She takes us inside what Samantha is feeling at those moments when she’s sitting in her classroom and why it’s unbearable to sit and wait for the feeling t [...]

    10. This books shows you how a panic disorder can take over your life. It's fascinating to see the thought process of the person, which becomes jumbled and hard to follow. Many times while reading I felt like I was going to have a panic attack myself. It had me on edge and shaky trying to follow Samantha's thought process. My heart would speed up and I found myself having to take deep breaths when Eli instructed Sam not to panic."Think of your attacks as the ocean during a storm. Waves come and cras [...]

    11. I would like to thank Lindsay Paige for giving me this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a story about panic attacks and anxiety disorder. Of all the books I have read, I think this was the first for me in this subject matter. It was well written and gave a lot of insight. This story is told by Samantha. After a few different events in her life she finds herself having anxiety and panic attacks in the middle of school, which would result in her running from class. On one of her escap [...]

    12. I read this book in a few hours. I felt like this book flowed well, and was a great portrayal of someone who suffers from severe anxiety. I've been there. As a fellow sufferer, I could FEEL the anxiety, panic. At points, I thought the internal dialog of the main character, Samantha, was rapid and mirrored the thoughts and actions of a person who is having a panic attack. Like I said, the flow of the book was good, but I felt like the end was a bit abrupt. I wish I could have read more about what [...]

    13. Oh Lindsay Paige you talent amazes me! I first fell in love with Lindsay's work when I read Sweetness. I was so excited when she announced this book because it was different from the Bold as Love Series. Now, there is a downfall to Lindsay, she is a Pittsburgh Penguins fan. *shakes head* Such a shame! Since I am a Chicago Blackhawks fan we don't always see eye-to-eye. But, I won't let that problem interrupt my review (this time!)Best part of the book: This is outstanding from page 1! One thing t [...]

    15. This is a perfect young adult book that tackles real issues with a nice love story on the side. The profanity is very minimal, and there are no sex scenes. The characters are quite relatable, and I think that young people would understand this story in ways that I cannot. The story is not complex, and it was good to see the teens getting the help they needed. For me, this book was just average, but that is only because I am not a teen, and I don't know anything about panic attacks. It makes me wa [...]

    16. Don't Panic was a story about a teenage called Samantha, She suffered from severe panic attacks. Going to class set them off more as she hated being the centre of attention. Most of the time this caused Samantha to run out of class and end up going home. She bumps into a new kid, Eli, when she runs into the wrong bathroom and Eli knows the signs from having panic attacks himself in his past and he wants to help Samantha.Eli books Samantha in for therapy. But things don't get easier when Samantha' [...]

    17. First off, it's a quick and simple read with bits of melodrama. I felt like the author had to be very young or inexperienced, which is fine, but made me feel a little too old for his. Having said that, the subject matter was done extremely well. Having an anxiety disorder myself that I suffered with for 16 years before getting help, I have to say that this is an EXACT portrait of this condition. Kudos to having a YA story examine this subject. I just wish it was better written and the secondary [...]

    18. Samantha all of a sudden starts haven panic attacks that progress in intensity with time. In one of those attacks she ends up in the boy's bathroom and Eli the new/old student helps her.Eli, by a big coincidence happened to have panic attacks in the past. The description of a panic attack is well done. The love was to instant for me. I liked Eli but instead of making Samantha independable she has to lean on him for everything.I was hoping for Samantha that the will to overwin this to fight for h [...]

    19. I received a copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review. This was an interesting young adult novel about dealing with anxiety and panic attacks. The story was realistic and really spoke to me as I began having them at the same age. It’s a constant struggle and you’re always a work in progress. Lindsay Paige did a great job showing us we’re not crazy or alone in our battle. Samantha had Eli, he stood beside her even in her darkest moments. The hardest part is trusting someone, whic [...]

    20. An easy and insightful read. While I don't deal with panic attacks, I do have my own mental/emotional demons to deal with. Also, I am close to people that do deal with panic attacks, and what I've seen mirrored well what is described in the book. The writing in this book during the attacks has a hurried, scattered, intensity to it that becomes an excellent vehicle for bringing emotions off the page. It is an early work by Lindsay, but very well done. In general her works are genres I skip over, [...]

    21. I fell in love with this story! I struggled at first with what I view as poor editing. There were some timeline issues and grammatical errors that made me cringe. However, once I got into the heart of the story I couldn't get enough of Samantha and Eli. Towards the end I even wondered if the way the story was written was done purposely to reflect the scatteredness of Samantha's brain. I've never read about (or even understood) panic attacks. Lindsay's story gives me a better understanding of wha [...]

    22. I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for a honest review. I really enjoyed Don't Panic it helped me to understand what people suffering through anxiety go through. I enjoyed all of the characters however the book was a bit too short for my liking. The twist was no something I saw coming which I must say was pleasing as I have when everything is told to you during a book. Overall I enjoyed don't panic it was a solid read with real characters, I would recommend it for teenagers probabl [...]

    23. What a promising talent is the author. For a college student, I thought Paige excellently conveyed the feeling and oppression of anxiety and panic attacks. While a YA novel, I thought the author could've gone much deeper.I felt Paige just skimmed the surface if what she's capable of. With that said, I won't recommend this one to my friends.I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

    24. An excellent exploration into the life of a young woman with anxiety/panic attacks. Also a nice little romance thrown in. Realistic and full of emotion. It places you inside a problem that is hard for an outsider to understand. It does this without being preachy or whiney. I enjoyed it a great deal.

    25. I really enjoyed this book. It is an appropriate YA romance novel that would be acceptable for teens and adults. The story was smooth and very well written. I am interested in reading more books by this author. I received this book free through First Reads. Thanks to Lindsay for the autographed copy.

    26. It took me a long time to finish this book. It wasn't what I expected. I get the girl had anxiety but to read every little emotions and panic which was the constant same thing was just lIke a broken record. I made myself read the whole book thinking that some good will come out of it but nope, it was just a disappointment ;-(

    27. The story was okay. The parental guardianship was questionable as the girl is a senior in high school and manages to go see a therapist and buys medication, all without parental approval and no money from her mother. I also would have liked a bit more information as to why she suddenly had panic attacks. The ending was a little weak.

    28. This is a perfect young adult book that tackles real issues with a nice love story on the side. The characters are quite relatable, and I think that the youth will be able to understand this story. Its not to complex in writing but has a really good plot. Definitely 4/5 stars :D

    29. Not at all what I would call a "book"! This belongs on a "self-help for teens" shelf, but I finished it, respecting the efforts of a young author! One Ativan would have put her world right!! Lol

    30. i really like this book, i cant imagine what sam was living everyday, im glad that she have eli to help her,
