    1. If I could describe this book to you in one sentence, I would say it’s a modern day ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’. John T. Sonne begins his story talking about the career issues that Alan Sorenson is battling. He’s driven by his ego and his pride, which proves to be the kiss of death for him. Living above his means, raising two children that are spoiled more by material things than by fatherly love; Alan’s life is typical of too many North Americans.     2. I had to say I didn't like the main character. He irritated me throughout the whole story and his transformation was not in anyway believable. That being said, I enjoyed the whole myth and legend part of it. Very unique take on it.

    3. Whisperings of 'It's a Wonderful Life' in this feel good fiction. The protagonist was a bit of a pain in the neck at times, but overall I liked the book and the fantasy elements of it.
