    1. Book #3 in The Sin series This short tale part of the contest was the last puzzle to solve. Although I knew I was too late to participate in the contest I still wanted to read this spooky story. In a nutshell: Twins brothers are left a mysterious map that would lead them to a secret that will unlock wealth and power.I had a sense of déjà vu reading this story. I knew what would happen before the events occurred. I can’t remember where I read something similar, maybe it was more developed in t [...]

    2. I listened to the audio book, my first since I was a child.J.F. Penn isn't a bad narrator, but I found her voice to be a little monotonous at times. It was a decent story though, with a pretty cool ending. I battled to get into it for the first five minutes or so, but quickly picked it up after that, once my hearing was attuned to listening to the story and I'd stopped fidgeting and fiddling and trying to check e-mail while it was going on.It's of course unfair of me to let my difficulty in gett [...]

    3. I wasn't sure what Sins of Treachery was when I opened it and even now I'm done, I can't tell. (view spoiler)[I suppose you could argue that both of the brothers were treacherous but personally I'd say fratricide is a hell of a lot more so than just plain greed. 4. Enjoyed this one as welljust don't know what the 'life's work' is so i was left with an unanswered question. That is why it gets 3 stars.
