    1. This was weird for me The dynamics of these two is interestingly strange. (view spoiler)[Usually the back and forth seeming of dominance does not work in favor of the story. We have big alpha that surprisingly likes to be submissive with sex. Normally I would find this awkward but this one not too much. Though after the bedroom games commenced, I didn't feel like I saw a lot of alpha-ness from Bron after that.Zane lost helpless looking (at the beginning) gets his feet under him and screams in ch [...]

    2. It took me a while to figure out what to think about this story. There was nothing really wrong with it, but it felt really basic. I never connected to either of the main characters, and I think that was my main problem. The other issue I had was that this story was all over the place, and there were a lot of repeated pieces of information, not to mention that "packs for rejects" have been done before, but this one didn't have a reason for being or a bigger story line that I could discover. All o [...]

    3. I rounded 2.5 stars up to 3 because I did like the overall story.I did have a big problem with the book in that it was very hard to connect with either of the main characters. The book was lot of the characters talking to each other, a very little bit of being inside their head, and almost no description of anything. That lack of putting us in their heads and the little inconsistencies that crop up when the author doesn't describe the scene well are the reason I wasn't 'feeling' the characters ve [...]

    4. The story didn't really catch my attention the way I wanted it to. I never developed a liking for Bron or Zane. Their relationship development moved really quickly and felt odd. The bdsm scenes were quite light just some spanking and one (maybe more) scene of Zane holding down Bron. Instead of being interested in Bron and Zane, I found myself wanting to know more about Reid and Zane's brother, Aiden.

    5. Well shit, I hate giving a low rating but sometimes there is no avoiding it.I honestly feel like I just read an outline for a book, there was a distinct lack of descriptions throughout the whole thing. Another reviewer said it perfectly, this book was "Elementary".There were so many things wrong with it that I don't even feel like I want to do an in depth review, the writer didn't give me an in depth book so turnabout is fair play.

    6. The author didn't do a good job with the writing in this one. There were times I was confused as to who was who. I also had a hard time keeping items that happened with the right character. The story just couldn't hold together with this occurring. The story line went everywhere! I really wanted to like the book when I got it but just couldn't.

    7. Was going to give it a 2 star, but it wasn't even "okay" according to ' standards. The writing was so spare it was almost skeletal. I got no sense of setting or minor and major characters. These characters were talking heads without a distinct personality between them. I called it a day when the narrative started head-hopping from one paragraph to another.

    8. Umgosh. I don't wanna offend the writer butis story was odd. I felt no emotion while reading this story and I struggled to finish it. I had hoped it would get better but it didn't. I gave it 2 stars for the effort but the characters were too bland. I couldn't connect with any of them. This book could have had real potential but it just fell flat.

    9. Feline shifters. There was a dynamic here between Bronson and Zane that could have worked for me if it had been explored more deeply. The story felt a bit thin though we got all the information but I just couldn't bring myself to care about the characters or their situation.

    10. So different from other shifter books. I wanted to see them mate each other like mates do in other books. I wanted them to smell like each other once they were mated. I wanted them to show off their mating marks. This book was okay, could have been so much better. 2.5 stars

    11. I thought it was great! Not the norm for an alpha, but that's what made it better for me. I absolutely loved it when the others joined them going home :):)
