    1. While it is certainly fun to page through, and it did add to the need to watch Classic Who, there were a lot of problems with it. I thought that there were quite a number of quotes that in no way needed to be included in this collection, seeing as how they either could have been from anything, or it wasn't even a special quote. They weren't funny or important or unique to DW and they left you questioning why they were in the book. Also, the book is divided into sections and I found a lot of quot [...]

    2. I really liked the idea of going back to "Doctor Who" through quotes, however I wish there were quotes from the more recent characters on the show as well. Here are some quotes that stood out to me:"As we learn about each other, so we learn about ourselves." - The Doctor"Fear itself is largely an illusion. At my age, there's little left to fear." - The Doctor"Death is always more frightening when it strikes invisibly." - The Master"Arms. Legs.Neck. Head. Nose. I'm fine. Everyone else?" - The Doct [...]

    3. A delightful collections of quotes from Doctor Who. Arranged by subject, this delightful little book is a must for all Doctor Who fans, and lovers of quotations. As my all time favourite Doctor Who quote, from the Brigadier, is present, I was definitely pleased with this book.A little light fluff to while away a few hours.Does have a useful list of all the writers of Doctor Who in alphabetical order, and an excellent index for cross referencing at the back.

    4. A must have for all the fans of the show. I simply can't list all my favorites quotes here, but I'll add a couple, because one thing is for sure, the messages behind the stories and adventures that this show is filled with it's part of what makes it so special, for me at least. "The universe has to move forward. Pain and loss, they define us as much as happiness or love. Whether it’s a world or a relationship, everything has its time. And everything ends.""No one knows how they're going to be [...]

    5. I actually enjoyed this a lot more than I'd expected to. It surprised me that even taken out of context, a lot of these quotes are very witty, impactful or just plain awesome, and it was fun to read through them. Obviously some weren't as good as others, but that's a given with a book like this. I loved the sections the book was split into, especially the list at the end of all the Doctors' last words before their regeneration, and the illustrations were really cool. One thing I would have liked [...]

    6. "Fantastic!" "Brilliant!" "Cool!"I love quotes, I love Doctor Who, do I even need to say that I love this book! All thirteen Doctors, tons of companions, friends, enemies and bit players all get their say in this book. Funny quips, sadness and anguish, deep thoughts and frivolous claims, they can all be found in here. The book is completely up to date (well, for a few weeks more), containing quotes from An Unearthly Child all the way up to, and including, The Time of the Doctor. For its eight min [...]

    7. “Wit, Wisdom and Timey Wimey Stuff: The Quotable Doctor Who” by Cavan Scott, Mark Wright Massive compilation of Whovian folkloreAdelaide Brooke: State your name, rank and intention. The Doctor: The Doctor. Doctor. Fun.The Water of Mars (p6)Palmerdale: Are you in charge here? The Doctor: No, but I'm full of ideas.Horror of Fang Rock (p16)Shakespeare: How can a man so young have eyes so old?The Doctor: I do a lot of reading. The Shakespeare Code (p26)Your mind is beginning to work. It's entirely [...]

    8. It's exactly what it says on the cover, and it's organized into very useful chapters. But as much as I'd like to give five stars to a book that compiles 50 years of quotable greatness, I have to hold back for two reasons. First of all, where are all the double entendres & the so-bad-they're-hilarious lines of dialogue that "Doctor Who" fans adore, as part of our love for the show? The book threatens to become a little too reverent without them. Secondly, the beautiful artwork (from the same [...]

    9. Quotes from our favourite Time Lord and his friends relating to travel, danger, monsters and the Doctor himself. Great fun, and a good reference if you like to quote the show! The quotes are organised into helpful chapters, The Doctor, The Light, The Darkness, The Universe, The Journey, The Tools, The Simple Things, The Past, and The Future. Now please excuse me while I go plant myself in front of Netflix for the day :)

    10. It was a joy to read this book. I've always wanted to have all the Doctor's quotes at hand and this book is the perfect way to do that. Every whovian should enjoy it if possible.

    11. This had some fantastic quotes, some silly, some insightful. My only complaint is I wish they identified which Doctor said what.

    12. Thematic collection of quotes from the British sci-fi series. Fantastic to browse through, though not all are that good. a lot of the recent series as well.

    13. I've actually had the idea for this book, which is precisely what it says on the cover, forever. Doctor Who is a very quotable show, and quote books such as Primetime Proverbs or I'd Rather Kiss a Wookie - the Star Wars Quotebook are popular and fun. So, reading this I thought - how'd someone else get to do this first? However, the book is fun. The quotes - from both the Classic Series and New Who are good and most favorites are included. However, there are some mistakes, such as - "The coffee's [...]

    14. "It’s like when you were a kid. The first time they tell you the world’s turning and you just can’t quite believe it because everything looks like it’s standing still. I can feel it. The turn of the Earth. The ground beneath our feet is spinning at a thousand miles an hour, and the entire planet is hurtling round the sun at 67,000 miles an hour, and I can feel it. We’re falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go… "Recommend to [...]

    15. As a newly converted fan of Doctor Who I started with the Ninth Doctor. I have every intention of watching every Classic Who episode that is available at some point in the future. Reading this book made me realize that I need to step up my timetable on watching them. This wonderful gem of a book has many quotes that I am not familiar with, but I noticed many repeated Classic episodes quoted so I will be listening for them as a I catch up on past Doctors. This is a great collection of quotes for a [...]

    16. Does exactly what it says on the cover. An eclectic mix of quotes from the longest running sci-fi series, grouped into themes. They have picked quotes from every Doctor up to Matt Smith. Inevitably there'll be favourite quotes not included but also there will be some here you may have forgotten or didn't know.As well as being an ideal coffee table book for any fan, this book also has a proper index enabling it to be a valuable reference in settling arguments.

    17. This satisfactorily scratches my binge-watching itch without sucking up more than an hour or two. It's also a fast introduction to Classic Who doctors and companions whose seasons I can't sit through. I even think it will be a good reference to keep track of plot throughlines. The index is very extensive. I do understand other reviewers complaints though. A fair number of the quotes aren't particularly interesting or unique, and the grouping can be strange.

    18. Basically what it says on the box. Unfortunately this was published before the 12th Doctor's episodes so even where one of his quotes would perfectly fit and fill out a section, they couldn't use it yet. Alas. I wouldn't mind a Kindle only short addition to this with Capaldi quotes. He has some really fantastic ones.

    19. This book was fun and meaningful, the kind of book you might read while eating breakfast. A lot of the quotes are funny, and several are words to live by. While quite a few of the quotes seemed to be put in just to fill up space, I would recommend this book to any Whovian looking for some Doctor Who literature.

    20. There are lots of good quotes, and a few that seemed super random and pointless, but since they range from classic Who to current, it would have been much easier to sift through them if the quotes where labeled as which Doctor instead of just the Doctor. Especially since they are not even chronological order through the history of Doctor Who. It jumps around a lot.

    21. In spite of being a book made up entirely of quotes (and some of them were rather non sensical without context), I admit I both laughed and cried (much to my fellow bus passangers dismay) I just loved this. I remembered some classics and yearned to watch -or rewatch- other episodes Doctor Who marathon, anyone?

    22. Basically a collection of quotes from Dr Who shoes from Series 1 right through to the present day. All your favourites are here. If you are a Dr Who fan then you MUST buy this. If you are not, don't bother. I loved it.

    23. I loved reading all of the different quotes that were in Doctor Who! I love this show so much and be able to sink into the quotes reading them over and over make you remember all the things that happened.

    24. Loved this book. It's everything I've loved about Doctor Who since I started with Four!Dialogue like this is why it's lasted 50 years, and (I hope) will carry it through the next 50! If you're truly mad, you may find yourself using some of these in conversations.

    25. I don't usually watch Doctor Who on TV, I've only seen one or two episodes, I don't go for the books either, but I decided to buy this book and I liked it

    26. I loved this book. It's perfect for any whovian. Now I need to watch the episodes that has these quotes in them.

    27. I loved reading the quotes from the show. This book is my first quote book. It was great. Enjoyed it a lot.
