    1. This is both a good picture book, and a good book which explains the area in Romania known as Transylvania. There is a lot of history and Bronwen Riley does a good job of giving an overview of the culture and people of this area. She explains very well the people who lived and still lived in this area.There are a lot of pictures/photos, and this helps give the reader a good idea of what Transylvania looks like.     2. This is a very interesting book about "The land beyond the forest" and the people who live there. It has many great photo's and articles about one of the most unspoiled regions of Europe, were the wolf and the bear still live free!

    3. Very thought-provoking travel memoir likely to appeal to readers interested in the culture, history and religious diversity of Romania and Transylvania, in particular.
