    1. My favorite komiks so far. It is the first in the series so I hope Paolo Herras will be able to sustain my interest. What a great start! Full of potential. Very engaging plot. Interesting characters. Enough twists to keep you going. Superb illustrations. I did not expect that I would like dark shades in komiks (you know I hate the drawings in the Trese series) but I surprisingly really love Tepai Pascual's exquisite illustrations here.Buhay Habangbuhay (should be translated as Alive Forever but [...]

    2. Buhay Habangbuhay is an interesting read because of its paranormal romance flavor. But after reading it, I realized that it is more of visual treat than a graphic novella with a compelling story. Much of the pages are devoted to a cat fight and a sex scene, which are both executed well. The story though is just okay. A story about life after death here on earth is a fresh story in the komiks medium.More of my [...]

I watched the movie version at CineFilipino (of course, support the local industry!!!). Of course, I didn't expect that it would be an almost silent film. But all the more reason that I paid attention to the details. Simply put, its a story of a housewife, who unfortunately dies in an accident, and as a ghost/soul, she waits for her hus [...]
