    1. 3 1/2 stars This wasn't a bad book but there was a little too much of the heroine stuck on her deceased husband( and yes I get it, I've said it before I will say it again I can't image loosing my husband or going on after loosing my husband but this is a romance), and it lasted so long that it made me question her love for the hero. Had they not been mated would she have stuck around. She even goes so far as to call the hero the husbands name at one of the very worst times ever. I also felt like [...]

    2. I received a copy of this book from the author and I gladly leave my review. This is the first book I’ve read and reviewed by Shelly Munro and I really enjoyed reading it. I was immersed in this book from page 1 right up to the end, this book has it all sexy cat shifters and aliens and I loved the hot sex scenes. I liked the storyline and the characters and I recommend this book to anyone that is a fan of shifter / alien books.

    3. Really good!!Didn't know if I'd like it at first but the more I read, the better I liked it. Great story linen't wait to read the next book in the series

    4. CAPTURED & SEDUCED has it all--a drunken horse jockey, some aliens, a shapeshifter, a hell-horse race, sibling rivalry, kidnapping, and betrothals.Ryman Coppersmith, a feline shapeshifter, has been framed for murder by his jealous foster brother and the only way to get his name cleared is to beat his brother in a hell-horse race. Ry and his crew decide to kidnap a top ranked human horse trainer to ensure victory in the race; instead they get his drunken twin sister. Camryn O'Sullivan, once a [...]

    5. 3.25*This is the my first book by Shelley Munro and I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to reading more from her. With that being said I felt that I was missing out on something in the beginning of the book. The first few pages of the book grabbed my attention and I thought, oh this is going to be so good and heart wrenching. I felt for Camryn and the loss of her husband and her never ending guilt. Then the kidnaping and the aliens and it started to lose me. I felt a little lost because there w [...]

    6. What a great and unusual storyline!! I've read a lot of shifter books I can honestly say that I haven't come across anything along this storyline before. Shelley Munro has a great imagination and her details will definitely keep you engrossed in her book. Camryn O'Sullivan lost her husband Gabriel two years ago, unable to move on; she has turned to alcohol to numb her pain. Camryn has been staying with Max, her twin brother, his wife Ellen and their son Luke. Camryn and Max ride and train horses [...]

    7. Feline shapeshifter Ryman Coppersmith will do whatever it takes to clear his name including kidnapping Jockey Camryn O’Sullivan in order to win a hell-horse race but he doesn’t count on the passion Camryn’s arrival triggers in this exciting sci-fi romance.Camryn has spiraled into a deep alcoholic depression since her husband died and when she’s kidnapped by aliens she’s both terrified and fascinated by Ryman but she’s sure he’s done something weird to cause her attraction. The read [...]

    8. I have read other books by Ms. Munro and this book lives up to the style of the others. That being said, this was a slow starting book with the characters being introduced and described more thoroughly, but as the book progresses the story captures the reader up. I could not put this down once I started it. This book has everything from kidnapping to horse racing to betrayal to hot sex to finding that one person meant to be yours even if you don't want to want them. Camryn is a human horse jocke [...]

    9. I received this book for an honest review.Camryn is still mourning the loss of her husband, the only problem is she's mourning him in the bottom of a bottle. Ry is on earth to find a horse trainer for the upcoming hell-horse race though he's not in it for the prize money but because of his side bet with his brother to clear his name. He too is lost knowing nothing of his past which is keeping him from moving into his future. When Camryn ends up kidnapped by Ry and his crew he doesn't expect his [...]

    10. This is my first book that I've read by Shelley & let me just say that when I first opened it & started to read, I was shoked & a little daunted when I saw the amount of pages it had. There are over 800 of them (well there is on my iBooks copy), first thoughts were, this is going to take forever to read. Let me put your mind at ease, although the book is long, it was an enthralling read, keeping me hooked in the story from the very start. 'Captured & Seduced' is book 1 in the "Ho [...]

    11. Jockey Camryn O’Sullivan is an alcoholic on a downward spiral after the death of her husband. When aliens kidnap her, she’s both terrified and reluctantly fascinated by Ryman Coppersmith. She’s positive the weird attraction to her abductor is an anomaly. Something to ignore. She’ll train the aliens’ horse and they’ll return her home. Simple. There’s no need for sex or a stubborn male kitty-cat to replace the precious memories of her husband. Feline shapeshifter Ryman has experience [...]

    12. Camryn O'Sullivan has sunk to rock bottom. Blaming herself for the death of her husband, Gabriel, she crawls into a bottle and stays there. Well, until she is mistaken for her brother and kidnapped by aliens who need a topnotch horse trainer to train a hell-horses, that's right, a hell-horse win a race that has a great deal riding on it. Convincing their captain, Ryan Coppersmith a feline shifter, she can do the job so he won't go back and take her brother, Camryn isn't even sure this isn't a bo [...]

    13. First let me get something off my chest, if you are going to use the word "fuck" in your work, please at the very least spell it correctly. Misspelling the word on purpose does nothing special for your writing, except maybe act as a visual irritant. Fukk! (see, wasn't that misspelling frustrating?) And if the excuse for misspelling it is that it an alien word, then I'm sorry, that's just plain lazy. This segways perfectly into the next irritating part of the book, there are just too many similari [...]

    14. I received this book for an honest review. This is this first book I have read by Shelly Munro and while I love shifters I don't like space travel or inter planet anything so I did not expect to even like this book a little. I went in with an open mind and I was blown away. I loved this book.Wow send me a Ry please! So you have this hot as sin adopted brother who is framed for murder by his adopted brother and the only way he can get out of it is to win a race. so of course h e looks to Earth fo [...]

    15. Camryn O'Sullivan is an alcoholic on a downward spiral after the death of her husband. When aliens kidnap her, she's both terrified and reluctantly fascinated by Ryman Coppersmith. She is kidnapped by Ryman and his crew, not only are they an alien race but she is the wrong person they were wanting to get. They need a horse trainer, she is a jokey, fear of them taking her brother prompts her to tell Ryman that she is a trainer and all they are looking for. Being attacked by bounty hunters, pirate [...]

    16. Although I found the story interesting to start, I did struggle a bit with some of the wording used. But, seeing how this is an Alien/paranormal story, I reminded myself that it may be just the way the author was having them converse. I was then able to move past this and became very engrossed in the story. The passion between Ry and Camryn was intense! Shelley Munro does NOT disappoint! (By the way Shelleywhere can I find a Ry for myself! hehe) I liked many of the supporting characters, even Gab [...]

    17. Imagine your worst nightmare-being captured by aliens and taken from Earth. It sounds horrifying, doesn't it? One would think so, but what if the alien who kidnaps you is super-hot? What if, in spite of the terrible events in the kidnapping, the kidnap victim starts to fall in love with her kidnapper? What if she is able to overcome her fears, the unbelievable beings, animals and circumstances to triumph over the villains and to find true love? Then the nightmare becomes a treasured dream. Take [...]

    18. Interesting in its originality but honestly, Camryn seems to have no problem with being kidnapped by aliens for a horse race, which sounds fun but not very realistic and despite being alcoholic, has no problem at all during the journey. Also the alien world is too close to human, with very normal names and cultures. Just didn't seem that futuristic. And the space travels are surprisingly short.Only point that I really liked was how Ry kept looking for information about his people and how to clea [...]

    19. I received a copy of this book in return for an honest reviewEven though I found the story to drag a bit in the middle, I really enjoyed the read. The plot is unique and full of imagination. The characters are complex and full of interesting traits. The story keeps you intrigued as it progresses, never sure which way it will go.Ms. Munro has a vivid imagination and also a gift to be able to use that and apply it to writing form. This is the first I have read from this author, and am looking forw [...]

    20. Captured and Seduced is book 1 in The House of The Cat series, and it looks to be a good new series start. Ryman and Camryn both have issues and both are fighting the need to commit to each other, although they just can't seem to keep their hands off of each other. She's an alcoholic still guiltily mourning her husband. He's an outlaw bent on revenge and clearing is name. Surprises are in store for them both and there's mystery, betrayal, action, family conflict and lots of steamy loving. I love [...]

    21. Great StoryI enjoyed it, a lot. Now I really want to know the back story, how Ryman really got lost in the world. The sex was hot, the violence a little shocking, but necessary. The crew were interesting, I hope at some point their stories will be told. I felt that Talor's demise wasn't nearly as severe as it should have been. He got off easy compared to his crimes. Still though, a good story.

    22. I enjoyed the premise of this book, I thought it was interesting. The one thing I didn't like was the heroine was stuck brooding over her deceased hussband, the part seemed to drag on for too long. Otherwise, I found the book entertaining and really enjoyed the hero, Ry and the hell-horses. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series. I received a copy of this manuscript from the author in exchange for an honest review.

    23. Great start to the series! Absolutely love Ry, such a great "man" even though he's running for his life & doesn't understand the changes his body experiences he has compassion (& the HOTS) for Camryn. Camryn is severely depressed, the alien abduction forces her to move on & get herself together. Some secret revealed, lots of unique supporting characters so can't wait to see what happens in next book.

    24. Ry & CamrynFyi to other readers, there is a book 0 in this series that comes before this one. While sci-fi is not my normal genre, I found this book very entertaining & enjoyed the read. The story has great flow & the characters are easily related to. I was a bit confused on the history of the problem between Ry & Talor but greed is at the core. The female heroine needed a trip to outer space to get her life back together. The trip was worthy & made for a great love story

    25. I liked this book. I loved the hell-horses, the whole crew, and the various subplots going on. Shelley Munro has a great imagination and created an incredible fictional universe for her characters. The story dragged a little bit in the middle for me, which is the only reason I didn't give it a much higher rating. Overall, it was a fun read.

    26. Captured & Seduced by Shelley Munro is not what I expected. Alien shifters? I was surprised by Ms Munro's ability to draw me into the story. Captured and Seduced is a well written book. The characters were fantastic with action, drama, humor and plenty of heat. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I look forward to reading more from Shelley Munro.

    27. Decent.I found this story entertaining. The romance definitely had a unique progression. The plot was interesting but not very suspenseful. I enjoyed the hero and heroine and really disliked the villain. It had all of that parts to make an excellent read it still fell a little short for me. I'm unsure if I'll read more from this author.

    28. 3.75 StarsA Sci-fi/fantasy erotica/romance with a horse training earthling and a shape-shifting alien. It's surprisingly delicious. I have already read book 2 in this series, and while I enjoyed it, this novel blew me away. The love scenes are steamy and the storyline works. The rest of the space crew are so intriguing!
