    1. I don't know if this one really deserves four stars, but I found the heroine so refreshing that maybe that extra star is for her and her alone. Don't get me wrong, I liked Lord Graham, but his constant woe-is-me theatrics went a bit overboard. Regardless, it's a sweet story with good dialogue, likable characters, and satisfying romance.

    2. I got this free from .This book got pretty good reviews on so I decided to give it a go. I liked the beginning of the book but the middle and ending was blah.Bethanny, and her two sisters have lost both their parents in a carriage accident. They wards of a Duke and their former Governess, Carlotta. If you choose, the Governess and Duke have their own book. To Tempt and Earl made sense to me but one could get more back information fromWhat the Duke Wants Bethanny becomes of age in this book and [...]

    3. Received an ARC for an honest reviewKristin Vayden always takes me to another world with her top regencies. Another fairy tale romance that I would always want to escape to. To Tempt An Earl was a breath of fresh air and I found myself totally lost in the world of dukes, princesses, ladies and earl.I truly enjoyed the whole book especially with a different female personality by Bethanny. I like that she is very vocal with her feelings toward Graham. Graham was another stud as well! I liked his s [...]

    4. Every time I pick up a book by Kristin Vayden I am never disappointed! In fact, I find myself turning to her books when I need a read I know I will love and not be able to put down! I loved To Tempt an Earl! Bethanny's personality was so genuine and authentic, I appreciated that in a regency novel where most characters mask their true selves! Bethanny was the exact opposite! True to herself, she wasn't just another pretty face. She was bold, intelligent and full of good humor! She knew whom she [...]

    5. This was a fun read. I thought I had already read the first book, What the Duke Wants, but once I started reading I realized I hadn't. Luckily, To Tempt An Earl stands well on its own, although now I want to go back and read the first book. While the storyline was a bit predictable, I liked that our heroine Bethany was not. I liked that she went for Lord Graham and wasn't afraid to flirt. A lot of times in regencies its the guy doing all the pursuing, so it was refreshing to have Bethany not be [...]

    6. Love it!.e story moves so fastd the charactersoh was so well writtenlove them all!!Great story! wouldn't want to miss it it's a must read!!! can't wait for the next book about the second sister!

    7. This book had me swooning, awww’ing, and most of all, laughing. I love a great love story especially ones of olden days where women were courted; people wore gloves on their hands because only respectable married people should know the intimate feel of skin to skin; young girls coming of age had debutante balls; and men came to ask permission for a lady’s hand in marriage from the father or male guardian. To Tempt an Earl was beautifully written and I could not get enough of it.Bethanny was [...]

    8. I just love how Graham and Bethanny’s wittiness flow throughout the story! This story is about Graham returning home and finally planning on settling down but has no idea who will he settle down. That was when he was invited to a debutante’s ball of his old friend’s ward and was chosen the task to look out for her from men who are not looking at love as something precious rather as a hobby. Bethanny’s debutante ball is more than she could ever imagine, hoping she find the right man for he [...]

    9. Spoiler Free, because this is one you really should discover for yourself - this was my first foray into regency romance but I can safely say that it will not be my last. This is perfect escapism, complete and utter literary decadence that allowed me as the reader to immerse myself in the grandeur and spectacle of aristocracy. To Tempt an Earl was pure fictional heaven, told with verve and descriptive vitality that held my attention from start to finish. It’s descriptive quality was fabulous.Bet [...]

    10. To Tempt an Earl is the 2nd in Kristin Vayden's Greenford Legacy Regency series but it works well as a standalone (the first instalment What the Duke Wants focuses on Carlotta and Charles). Bethanny is all grown up and ready for her first season (i.e. the marriage market). She's a woman on a mission, who has no intention of playing the simpering, innocent miss or in the many men of the ton. Bethanny has decided she's going to marry her childhood crush, the unsuspecting Lord Graham Bethanny and h [...]

    11. Every once in a while I really need a fun historical romance to give me a carefree read. Kristin Vayden definitely filled this need with To Tempt an Earl. I gave this book 4.5 stars and would recommend it to any historical romance lover. This is the story of a young woman entering the marriage mart. Bethany decided years earlier that she was going to marry Lord Graham, and is not too timid to make him realize they belong together. I really enjoyed Bethany’s character. She was both bold and inn [...]

    12. This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review. To Tempt an Earl was a delightful read. I say that because I enjoyed reading a book where the female lead was a strong, feisty woman. There is no simpering, shy miss where Bethanny is concerned. Bethanny fell in love at a young age and knew who she wanted to marry; only trouble is convincing the men in her life. Graham was quite a bit older than Bethanny and the last time he saw her she was still a child (in his eyes). Her guardian know [...]

    13. This book was really good. I'm not always into time period books but sometimes I gotta give them a chance. I'm glad I did with this one. There was a part towards the end of the book where the characters start talking about Bethanny's parents that kind of threw me but not bad. I really got into the characters and their drama. I liked the relationship between Graham and Bethanny. They are seriously perfect for each other. In a time where women don't talk back or sass the men Bethanny does exactly [...]

    14. I loved this book I really did I found that I was enchanted from page one I loved Graham, "bloody -er, drat. Miss Lamont, I didn't intend for you to" He took a deep breath and broke the frame of their waltz. "I didn't intend for you to practice on me." He placed his hands on his hips and shot her a longsuffering glare." He's a special boy and it takes him awhile to get the gist of things, "Clairmont's ward?" Graham furrowed his brow in confusion. "Why didn't you say so? Of course I'll be there. [...]

    15. A good sweet read! Bethanny fell in love with Lord Graham a few years ago and now that she's grown up and having her first season, she's hoping the he will see her as the beautiful woman she is instead of the young teenager he met years ago. Lord Graham has decided that this season he will marry. With a little help and a nudge in the right direction from his sister Lady Southridge, maybe he'll not only marry, but find the woman that he can't live without.I love Lady Southridge, there's never a d [...]

    16. I read reviewers saying that the wedding night was a fade to black scene. Yeah, um, it took quite a while for it to skip to the next morning and then there was a little more to contend with then. Oh, there wasn't any ridiculously vivid detail, but I prefer it when the scenes ends before the characters get naked and start assessing one another. There was also to much lustful desires going on between the two characters - particularly on the Earl's part. It could had been an enjoyable romance if no [...]

    17. This book is about Bethanny, the oldest of the Duke of Clairmont's wards. She has been in love with Lord Graham for quite some time now. Now that she has come of age, she is trying to figure out how to get the Earl to notice her and not just as his friends ward. She is a clever young lady and with the help of Lady Southridge this makes for a fun loving read. There were a few sad moments but It had me laughing and swooning as well. This was actually my first book from Kristin Vayden and after I r [...]

    18. I think I am in love! To Tempt an Earl was my very FIRST Regency Novel and boy I was hooked from the very beginning. Kristin had the perfect blend of characters that totally enthralled me from the first page on. The book flowed with ease and before I knew it, I looked up and was half way thru the book. Lord Graham is blushingly smooth in his pursuit of Bethanny. Oh to have your childhood crush, all of a sudden be your reality. Yes please! Kristin has me hooked and I will be checking out the rest [...]

    19. Cute, creative and left you wondering about the other sisters and Lord Neville. Didn't love it as much as the first book in this series, but I did enjoy that you still got to be a part of Lottie, Charles and Dianna's drama/life. Curious about the story with Beatrix and Lord Neville due to the cliff hanger

    20. This boo was a lovely story if I could ignore the timeline discrepancies to the first book in the series. Unfortunately I got very distracted by the ages of the girls vs. the previous book and other such timeline issues. The characters were fun though

    21. Exciting, faith filledNo sex for all ages. Faith, hope, and love discussed as a requirement for a wonderful life. Exciting to read this adventurous romance. - Barbie

    22. My reviewI found that this book was very good. I think anyone would like the story and enjoy it as well as I did.
