    1. Western Desert is the second in the Chronicles of Lily Carmichael by P.J Sharon and it’s as excellent as the first (See my review of it here). This dystopian/post-apocalyptic series should be as popular as the Hunger Games; it really is one of the best YA dystopian books around. The only reason it isn’t on everyone’s lips and on everyone’s Kindles is because as an indie author, P.J Sharon does not have the backing of a big publisher, and that’s all the more reason why you should read t [...]

    2. I received a copy of this trilogy in exchange for an honest review.I was quite disappointed with this second book. It was not nearly as enjoyable as the first (as sequels tend to go). The story seemed to get stuck in a pattern of telling the same thing in different ways. It became quite predictable to me.Halfway through this book, Lily and Will take a sudden detour from their original purpose/destination to do something else. It seemed quite odd to me at that point in time, and I felt it had ver [...]

    3. The author gave me the trilogy for free in exchange for an honest review. I was reluctant to start „Western Desert“ even though I absolutely loved “Waning Moon”. The reason were the two little words “road trip”. The protagonist embarking on a journey to save loved ones is really epic in fantasy novels. I wasn’t all too keen on following Lily and Will on their drive through the US. But “Western Desert” held some pleasant surprises!Throughout the book we get to know Will and Lily [...]

    4. WESTERN DESERT, Book Two in The Chronicles of Lily Carmichael trilogyBy P.J. SharonThe New Must-Read Series Continues to Thrill!P.J. Sharon doesn’t disappoint with the second installment of the “The Chronicles of Lily Carmichael.” This story continues a month later from when Waning Moon left off. Lily and Will head into the lion’s den in a rescue mission for her brother, Zeph and their friend, Luke. The first book hinted at the destruction of the cities and human life but this book goes [...]

    5. I received this book through a giveaway. Obviously, because I entered, I was interested in the book. Halfway through the book I had to face the obvious, this book was just not my cup of tea. When I initially entered the giveaway I figured that I could deal with some romance between characters because the premise of the story sounded like it could be good. The romance was just a little too overpowering. I couldn’t get past the sentences like: “Will placed a soft kiss on my upturned cheek, bri [...]

    6. I enjoyed Western Desert by Pj Sharon. This is book 2 of a series but it can be read as a stand alone book. You discover what happened in book 1 as you read. The plot is a bit different in its dystopian style. The characters are very visual and have you rooting them on. Lily heads out west with Will, having attained Sam's approval on the rescue plan for her brother Zeph and Tyler, the law enforcers son. Will is looking for his dad. They get robbed by someone Lily helped. They must go to NYC to b [...]

    7. Western Desert was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.I did not read Waning Moon first and really wish I had. It can be read as a stand-alone novel but where is the fun in that! LOL Even without having read book 1 I enjoyed this story. It’s got mystery, action and romance. Everything needed for a good book. I would recommend this book to fantasy readers.

    8. Have Kleenex readyThis one is a tearjerker. Wasn't prepared for any of the outcomes. Zeph, Josh, Will or Lily.ey all made choice, found out thingsI just need to read the next book now.eep who needs it.

    9. Wow. Nonstop action, great story. I love the way she has presented the story of Lily and her friends. One of the best stories ever. Highly recomended

    10. With this second book PJ keeps our interest with just enough mystery, romance and action to keep us rushing to turn the page.
