    1. This is the second Jacqueline Wilson book I’ve read aloud to my daughter and we loved it! When I purchased it, I did not realize it was one of a series, but that did not matter. We’ll read something by someone else next, but I plan to return to this series in the near future, probably with Hetty Feather.A few reviews by Jacqueline Wilson fans expressed disappointment with this one, which is great news to me. If the earlier ones make this a let-down, wow.At the start of this book Hetty and he [...]

    2. I really enjoyed this book, I originally read Hetty Feather when it came out and I've read each sequel as it came out. Although Jacqueline has said that she thinks Little stars will be the last in the series I think that there is the possibility of a sixth book as the end is pretty open to further events.

    3. This is one of my first Jacqueline Wilson book I read. I read this first before hetty feather. She is very bold just like a Gryffindor!I enjoyed reading this book it gave me courage when reading. She meets young Bertie again. Diamond loves the company but hetty sometimes does not. Hetty is very smart making deals with various people throughout the book. this is a very good book to read with a friend! I loved reading the book.

    4. Little Stars is the fifth book in the Hetty Feather series by Jacqueline Wilson, and I think that it is a great way to end the series. Hetty is still the same person, but she is older and everything steps up a little. All of her little dreams seemed big when she was little, but now, given her circumstances in 'Little Stars' at the cavalcade and with acting, they seem so small compared with her dreams now. Being the Ringmaster at the circus in 'Diamond' was such a big and fantastic thing, but now [...]

    5. I had high hopes for this book i've read all of Jacqueline Wilson's other books and please don't critcise me for not liking this book i'm surprised i didn't because all of her other books i have but i feel like jacqueline wilson was just dragging the books on the hetty feather books should have finished at Diamond story i found it really slow and not exciting

    6. To start with, I did not expect this book to be so good. The previous two books had been kind of boring, but it was a pleasant surprise to find that this book was actually really exciting and interesting! I'm really looking forward to the next book in this series!

    7. Not actually overly impressed with this book. At the age of 20 I'm still keeping up to date with the Hetty Feather series after falling in love with it aged 14, but although the story of this volume was interesting, especially in terms of Hetty's further development into adulthood, I found it unfulfilling in relation to the story of the whole series. I felt like Jem and Janet's wedding should have been a greater climax rather than a short couple of chapters in the middle of the book, and honestl [...]

    8. Initial thoughts: This was a fantastic sequel to my favourite historical fiction series. I'm eagerly anticipating a new one.5/5 stars.SPOILERS!!!: I loved the romance between Hetty and Bertie. I loved everything about this but Hetty really. She sometimes got on my nerves. I wanted her to talk about writing and her memoirs but a vague mention only. This is still the ambitious and determined foundling I fell in love reading about, but in a way I couldn't relate to her. She always wanted more than [...]

    9. This book tied up everything we know about Hetty and Diamond in a really lovely way. The ending was perfect and the story on the whole was exciting throughout. I love Jacqueline Wilson and have been reading her books since I was a little girl. I am now 26 and I still get butterflies in my stomach when I know a new book is out in the shelves. Well done Jacky!

    10. Můj život by byl podstatně chudší bez téhle knižní série pro děvčata ve věku 10-13 let. Je vážně skvělá. Přiměla mě mít ráda i dobré konce.

    11. Great BookI love how hetty and diamond found Madame Adeline and berty and are finally safe. I recommend this to those who love a happy ending and the victorians.

    12. I have mixed feelings about this book. I loved the return of Bertie, and Diamond was fun to read about and was a nice change having her alongside Hetty as Hetty annoyed me a lot here. Firstly, the bit with Jem. The chapter where she goes to the country for Jem and Janet's wedding was so intense, I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it yet but I felt very unsatisfied with how that was left. I've never cared too much for Madame Adeline or the circus/performing side of these stories, I'm alw [...]

    13. The story of Hetty Feather’s life continues with this latest absorbing novel about the feisty young heroine.Fifteen-year-old Hetty Feather and eight-year-old Diamond have escaped from Tanglefield’s Travelling Circus. Hetty, a foundling, had run away to join the circus and succeeded as a clever young ringmaster, although she discovered it was a hard life. Diamond was the star of the Silver Tumblers acrobatic act. Unfortunately, a cruel clown, Beppo, who trained the acrobats had half-starved D [...]

    14. Yet another book of the series that I really loved , struggled putting this one down and was surprised to see that the book was 500 pages long . Reading this has made me really want to go back and re-read the whole series again, by far my favourite series written by Jaqueline Wilson :)

    15. This book was really interesting and is part of Hetty feather one of my personal favorites i really enjoyed reading this

    16. Though once a big fan of this author Niece #2 (now 17) feels she has long since outgrown these books. I, however, having read several of Jacqueline Wilson's books with her in the past was keen to catch up with Hetty Feather in this, the fifth and reputedly last book in the series.Having only read the first book in the series I'm not what you could call au-fait with Hetty's story but had no problem catching up with events. Indeed I think I could have been a total newcomer to the Hetty Feather boo [...]

    17. I enjoy keeping up with the latest children's books, (I think it's the teacher in me) and Jacqueline Wilson is always a go to for me since I was obsessed with her when I was younger! I've really enjoyed the Hetty Feather series and was really excited about this new addition to the series - especially about the hint of a return from Jem! I thought this book was so much fun to read, though a tad unrealistic a fair few times and it did leave me disappointed regarding a certain couple but that didn' [...]

    18. I'm going to try and actually write reviews from now on, so this is my first one. I read almost all of Jacqueline Wilson's books when I was younger including the Hetty Feather series, but I only picked this one up because I'm currently writing a fanfiction set in the Victorian Era. I've been kind of disappointed with JW's recent books and this one was no exception. Her more recent works have all been far too focused on romance. I thought there was going to be a serious plot line about Diamond wa [...]

    19. I received my copy through a giveaway from .This is the first book I read, written by Jacqueline Wilson; and although I am a bit old for these kind of books, I really enjoyed reading it! The book is well written and has a fascinating story line about one young, but strong headed girl, who's not afraid to make life-changing decisions and take full responsibilities for her actions. Good read.

    20. Hetty Feather has begun a new chapter in her life story. Escaping from Tanglefield’s Travelling Circus with her friend Diamond, Hetty is determined to find them positions as music-hall artists. The pair quickly become the Little Stars of Mrs Ruby’s show, alongside many colourful acts including a friend from Hetty’s past, Flirty Bertie.Read full review here: nzbooklovers/book-re

    22. LOVED IT 4.5 stars -I really enjoyed this as it was fun and exciting but IT REALLY ANNOYED ME when Hetty just kisses jem and never feels guilty about it when she's with Bertie like it never arises tbh I wished she was with jem like they had chemistry and jem was perfect in every way but she went with Bertie :'( oh well
