    1. AWESOME read! Left me wanting more. Very intelligently written and very creative. I loved every minute of it.

    2. This is my first experience with Bibi Rizer's writing and I have to tell you I am now a fan!!!I was unsure how this story was going to progress after reading the first few paragraphs, but I'm glad I kept on going! Set in a seemingly post-apolyptic Earth, women have two choices - enter a harem (where the men have gotten fat and lazy because they're in high demand) or find their pleasure in the Pleasures for a rather large amount of money.O'Mara is a reporter and her assignment is to review a new [...]

    3. This book was dark, thrilling and the beginning of one hell of a serial. It did not end on a cliffhanger but it did leave you wanting so much more. I was asked to beta read this book for the author and jumped at the chance after reading one of her other stories (Not part of the same series, but just as good.) If you like, dark, edgy, dystopian, futuristic, sci-fi, The Obsidian Stairway fits all of these and still has a healthy and liberal dose of the erotic added in. The erotic scenes in this bo [...]

    4. What's it about?Somewhere in the future, or another world, O'Mara Tanner is a reporter, charged with reporting on the 'services' offered within the Pleasures, a futuristic red light district of sorts. It's her job to go take part in the new services and then write a saucy story that will bring the patrons in and satisfy the need for sex in a world where the population balance between men and women is completely off and men are hard to come by. This time, she's interviewing the mysterious Tully a [...]

    5. This book was AMAZING!! This was my first Bibi Rizer book. I LOVED it! So different and so amazing!** Some SPOILERS **O’Mara Tanner goes to The City of Dark Pleasures, to tell the story about a new sexual service that everyone has been talking about. She finds Tully, he is at the end of the "obsidian stairway". She enters his room to interview and experience what he has to offer.Tully is amazing. He seems very attentive, very sophisticated (maybe not quite right word, but he doesn't have "paid [...]

    6. A unique, dark, somber-erotic novella that kept my attention to the end. It was a short read, and I felt that I missed a few things (like maybe there is another short story in this universe that starts this series, and maybe I missed it), however, that said, I enjoyed it and I will pick up the next novella.I liked the title, and combined with the cover, it doesn't exactly convey "erotic" but, then again, the story sort of isn't erotic. I found it to be more about connecting with others, and desi [...]

    7. Intriguing and arousing smut? Nailed it!I love Bibi for her deliciously well told smutty books. Love her. Hate her for making this one so short. You love the writing voice from page one. You love the intrigue and characters and sex. It's a short read but damn does it sizzle.Where's my sequel, Bibi?!

    8. Very interesting futuristic hot and steamy read. It reminded me of the Beyond Series by Kit Rocha, which I loved.
