    1. I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.A note to those reading, this is the first book in the Heir Of Drachma Trilogy, which is a continuation of the Book Of Drachma Trilogy. I recommend you read those three books before you pick up this one. Trust me, you'll be glad you did!In Mr. Cook's books, science and fantasy go hand in hand and weave a spell around you, capturing you into their world. I love stories the older they're set, and the 1400's is a very interest [...]

    2. Thank you for sending me this book & thank you Timothy for the enclosed letter explaining the idea behind the book. At first I found it hard to get into the book, but I persevered & I am glad I did. It was an enjoyable read with great characters. The different time zones etc made it very interesting. The list of characters at the back of the boo was very helpful

    3. I enjoyed reading Healer's Defense but find it hard to classify the book. I suppose it is fantasy but the medical portions are technical. I look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series.
