    1. I know that Sara didn't enjoy this book all that much, particularly the ending, but I thought it was highly enjoyable. It helps that the protagonist is written as a highly believable person, with diverse interests and tastes. The mystery itself is fairly straight-forward, and it is pretty far-fetched that a headhunter would solve the crime faster than the perfectly capable-seeming DA and her cops, but the real lustre of this book lies in its spot-on portrayal of life in New York City.
