    1. Yesterday I wrote a review for this book and this morning it has gone, I know it had saved as I went back to check a spelling. I was really expecting to love this book from the cover but was dissapointed that the rhyming text was quite similar to 'Oh The Places We'll go by Dr Suess, and on ever page the words kept hammering home the message that everthing is okay as long as we have each other. I liked the cover art work but found the illustrations inside did not work so well, they were an odd mi [...]

    2. Simple and sweet story/poem style of a parent and child mouse as they travel together through the seasons of life. Neat illustrations. Highly recommended for Grades K-1.

    3. So, so sweet and adorable. Very warm and loving:With your hand in my handwhen winter takes holdwe'll snuggle up closerand won't feel the coldwe'll walk through the seasonsuntouched by the frostwith you hand in my handwe'll never feel lost

    4. A parent mouse and child mouse journey through the year hand in hand.Well, this book is adorable. The Wife said it's that kind of book that you give to people at baby showers because it's just that adorable and shows the loveliest side of parenthood. The art is unique but almost familiar because it's really comforting or something. I don't know, like Eric Carle but a little less abstract. Maybe it's not the most popular at bedtime but with Mom and Dad at least it's a good one.

    5. When I was young my Mum always wanted me to come over for a lean or hold her hand if we were walking. I would be asked how much I loved her and I would reply, “This Much” whilst stretching out my arms as far as they would go. It seems that my Mum was quite a sentimental person, so this book would have been perfect for her to read to me before bed.‘Your Hand in My Hand’ does not have a narrative as such, but is a book that follows two mice as they walk along hand in hand. They could be mo [...]

    6. THIS book is PERFECT!!It just makes me feel the way I always used to feel when I was REAL little and me and Mama would go out and hike in the woods when it’s cold or even SNOWY, and she’d take her camera, but you know what the best pictures were? When she’d say “Wow! Look at THAT, Eva!” and sometimes she wouldn’t even take a picture, but I’d just remember it and have the picture in my head. And then we’d go for hot chocolate and muffins! So I really really really LOVED this one bec [...]

    7. Originally posted on Once Upon a Bookcase.Your Hand in My Hand is a cute story of a parent and child out discovering the world together. It shows the bond between Mother/Father and Child, and the parent taking the child out on an adventure, and also encourages parents to nurture their child-like sense of wonder of the ordinary - to see the world through their child's eyes. The two little mice are adorable, and the illustrations are really cute, in a almost collage style. This is such a lovely st [...]

    8. This is lovely rhyming poem about doing things together in love. The artwork shows two mice, probably parent and child, holding hands and going through life together. They walk in the snow and make friends with other animals. They splash in the rain puddles and gaze at a rainbow. They play in the meadow and sing songs. They find treasures in the woods and snuggle up close.julianaleewriter/books-ali

    9. Cute! I really like the connectedness between parent and child in this book. They're enjoying the adventure of life together. Also, it never specifies if the parent is a mom or a dad, so it works for everyone.Good for toddler or preschool storytimes.

    10. Two mice go hand in hand sharing many beautiful things together in life. Very cute picture book. Illustrations are superb.

    11. I normally would have thought this was super cheesy but the new parent in me almost teared up. Gah. Made me want to snuggle my kid.

    12. Very sweet rhyming text to read with your young child. You could even sing this to your baby, but the cute illustrations would work well with toddlers and up. Adorable.

    13. Hardcover version. Great for story time. Love the lyrical writing and gorgeous illustrations. Seasons.

    14. A sweet walk through the seasons, accompanied by lovely illustrations and rhyming text that's not too saccharine -- my favourite!
