    1. *Source* Purchased*Rating* 3.0*Genre* Young Adult, Occult, Horror*MY Thoughts*Sealed with a Curse is a Young Adult themed Horror novella that author Jenna Black released in time for Halloween. Which is totally why I am reading it now instead of before Halloween! This is a story about a girl named Chloe who, along with her mother and grandfather who experiences dementia, have moved 4 times over the past 4 years. They now live in Miller's Point, Georgia. *FULL REVIEW POSTED @ GIZMOS REVIEWS 11/08/ [...]

    2. Review originally posted at RabidReads. This is a short story that is a great Halloween read. It was a quick read, but it is filled with some thrilling scenes.Chloe’s family can cast curses. Or at least that is what her mom keeps telling her. She is more of a skeptic. She has moved four time in four years. It is now her senior year and she is moving after school has started. She really feels like an outsider this year. All she wants is to be invited to the event of the year in the small town, K [...]

    3. Let it be noted that this book is now out of print. As far as I know, you can’t get it anymore unless things change and Jenna is able to send it back out into the world!Jenna Black’s Sealed with a Curse is the perfect little read for Halloween time! It was far creepier than I expected and definitely a lot more bloody!Chloe and her mom and her grandfather have moved once again. They’ve been doing that a lot lately, because according to her grandfather, they have magic in their blood and are [...]

    4. Sealed with a Curse is an excellent novella. Fast paced, thrilling, and most importantly horrific. If anything, this novella has gotten me even more hyped up for Nightstuck then I already was, but for now, let's look at Sealed with a Curse.Chloe's just moved to her fourth new home in four years, the quaint town of Miller's point, because, according to her mouth, her mean spirited grandfather, suffering from dementia, keeps casting curses that end with a body count. Chloe however, doesn't believe [...]

    5. **We received a copy of this short story in exchange for an honest review**This had so much to offer for a short story. There was a type of fear that tickled some of my worst nightmares. Chloe is at the edge of her teenage tolerance when it comes to having to move, again. With some complex family dynamics and a possible "curse" descending upon a party she's about to go to, she'll have to make a hard decision and one that would change her forever.I loved the build up and Chloe's awkwardness. She [...]

    7. 4.5*'s First let me thank Jenna Black for providing me with a copy of this novella to read in exchange for an honest review. I couldn't say no when she said it was a Halloween horror, even with it being YA, I was making grabby hands. I'm an avid horror fan no matter the format. I am happy to say Jenna has a good horror read here. There are a few parts that I wish had been explored a little more but the blood was in the story and I loved it! One night, a hurricane, a Halloween party and doubt mak [...]

    8. This is a novella just in time for Halloween. It is definitely Horror. I have loved everything Jenna writes. Her characters are so real and you can imagine the scenes as you read them. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is that I am not a fan of horror stories. However, I did enjoy this, it was not so gory that you couldn't stand reading it. The story itself is cute with a supernatural touch with the family having the ability to curse people in their bloodlines. The main character Chloe is s [...]
