Title: EnamorSeries: A Hearts of Stone NovelAuthor: Veronica LarsenRelease date:19th November, 2015Cliffhanger: No HEA:(view spoiler)[ Yes(hide spoiler)]
Recent events have left Julia feeling uncharacteristically vulnerable. Unable to count on the support of her family at a hugely difficult time for her, moving into into a new home is exactly what she needs to gain independence and perspective. Further complication and distraction is the last thing she is looking for but the first thing she [...]

    2. 4 tangled up in me stars. Ah, Enamor is such a well written emotional story. It really traps you within its world and doesn't release you until you've finished reading. The love is natural, easy, and more like breathing than falling in love. My favorite moment is when Giles attempts to explain."You grew into me, tangled yourself up in me, and now I can't tell where I end and you begin." Backtracking a bit, Giles and Julia have an interesting first meeting that only serves to create a bad impress [...]

    3. I can't even count how many reasons I have for loving this book. The story was amazing, the pacing was amazing, the characters were AMAZING, the sexual tension was amazing. Everything was amazing. Everything. There wasn't one damn thing that I didn't like about this book. Not. One. First of all, Enamor is funny. I was sitting in the doctor's office with our boys, waiting for their appointment and I pulled my Kindle out to read. So I'm just chugging along and I get to this one scene it made me l [...]

    4. "The heart doesn't ask for permission and it doesn't check for boundaries. It's selfish and reckless, just wanting and demanding, consequences be damned."From the first page to last, this heart-warming, line-crossing, frenemies romance kept me glued to my kindle until the last page was consumed. This story was quite the journey. Veronica Larsen made me suffer, oh boy did she torture me. I didn't think the pages were going to be enough for Julia & Giles, frustration was making me feel edgy, a [...]

    5. I loved, loved, LOVED this book. Definitely Ms. Larsen's best work so far. I've always been a fan of her witty banter, her strong heroines, and gorgeous writing, but this one is on a whole new level. Be warned, once you start reading you won't be able to stop. Julia and Giles story is refreshing, mature, hilarious, sexy, and so goddamn sweet, it melted my heart. This is angst done right, sexy times that leave you breathless, and new adult at its finest.

    6. The heart doesn't ask for permission and it doesn't check for boundaries. It's selfish and reckless, just wanting and demanding, consequences be damned. As you can see from my rating, I really enjoyed this book. It was funny and sexy, with just the right amount of angst and steam.Julia and Giles are both broken-hearted. Both of them were betrayed by the people they thought they loved, they've only handled it very differently. While Giles does his best to forget about his heartache by partying and [...]

    7. Review originally posted on my blog: Mischievous Reads4.5 Stars! What I adore about this author's writing style is the absence of repetition and redundancy in her romance novels. Veronica Larsen's writing style has grown tremendously from her debut novel, Entangle, which is followed by the heroine's younger sister's story in Entice, and in spite of her soon-to-be released novel being a somewhat prequel; Enamor can stand on its own and definitely outdid its predecessors.[In this novel] Larsen take [...]

    8. Link: collectorofbookboyfriends/The thing about Enamor is that, if you see the cover without reading the blurb first, the impression you get from it is of a very erotic story. But what you get is 95% opposite. Only the 5% of it is erotic and steamy while the rest of, it is unbelievably hilarious, entertaining and flirting. And this result is just amazing….A story and a couple that captivates you from the start. Julia and Giles’s relationship evolution is definitely something to be hold. At f [...]

    9. The love in this book? It sneaks up on you. It comes out of nowhere and spreads everywhere. It’s the kind of all consuming, barrier breaking, heart warming, skin heating, line crossing love that exploded my heart and scattered my emotions.Giles and Julia have a love/hate friendship that turns into a love/love friendship that turns into sochre. The banter and prank war between them was hilarious, but what really got me was how both of them changed so much in such definable ways by each other wi [...]

    10. “ the heart doesn’t ask for permission and it doesn’t check for boundaries. It’s selfish and reckless, just wanting and demanding, consequences be dammed.”I adored this book from the very first moment! I loved the chemistry between Julia and Giles. The chemistry is beyond control and the pranking gives this story a funny edge to it. Giles trying to flirt with Julia, and Julia pretending she doesn’t fall for it was so fun to read. I just couldn’t put this book down until it was fini [...]

    11. Unfortunately I found this one too boring. It was just very blaharacters were one dimensional and I wasn't overly invested in them! There was nothing wrong with the writing or anything, it's just the overall plot didn't do anything for me.An arc was provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

    12. I’ve read one Veronica Larsen book before this (The Edge Of Us), and I fell IN LOVE with her writing. Now, reading another book, I just sit here in a bit of a book haze. How does she write characters the way she does?! I need to read another Veronica Larsen book ASAP!!!This is an enemies to friends to lovers story, between Giles and Julia. They end up as roommates in a house with Giles’ cousin Ava.Julia is a very interesting character. She has been through something tragic and is estranged f [...]

    13. A freebie I found while looking through my now huge collection. I liked the blurb; it fit my mood, and this didn't disappoint. I really liked Julia, and I loved her strength and snarky backbone. I hated that her family disowned her when she was the one victimized by her ex. I also liked Giles. He took more time to grow on me, but I really liked his honesty and his forthrightness. He was very confident (which like Julia, I found both repellent and attractive), and I loved the prank war! It was re [...]

    14. This is so "Jaded bad boy falling hard for the running from her past girl" good! Heartfelt, steamy and filled with loads of witty banter. Just what I needed to kick away the "Every new thing I'm reading sucks lately" blues.

    15. ~ 3.5 Stars ~I was introduced to Veronica Larsen earlier this year so I was excited to able to go back and read some of her earlier work. Enamor gives us a roommates to lovers romance with some fun pranks sprinkled throughout. From the moment Julia and Giles meet, there's that instant spark. That overwhelming attraction that you can't seem to ignore. However, he's cocky and arrogant and she decides she wants nothing to do with him. Only to find out that they are now going to be roommates. Thus st [...]

    16. I received a copy via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. To say I was completely enamored with this book would be an understatement. This is the first book that I have read by Veronica Larsen and I found it to be emotionally gripping, steamy, and it spoke to some of the troubles that can arise with spitefulness and technology. Enamor is a story where friendship and love go hand in hand. Julia and Giles are two souls that find each other at a time when they need one another the most. Th [...]

    17. I adore friends-to-lovers stories, especially with sassy heroines who get me laughing. Julia is such a heroine. She has some pretty clunky baggage, but her strength, that which some pretty strong friendships foster, carries her through it. Giles, her nemesis-turned-best friend, encourages her, as does she to help him through his tough past. They make a good team helping each other. This could have easily been a five-star read for me, but a couple of things caused the removal of one star. First, [...]

    18. This is a heartwarming tale of two broken people forming a great friendship and then some. Giles and Julia are a couple of pranksters. Julia is finally moving out of her uncles place. She is estranged from her family, and the reasoning for this is shocking. She is ready to more in with Ava and a third roommate. He first meeting of Giles is funny. I really enjoyed the prank war between the two. Giles is a heartbroken man, who was cheated on and the issues with his family. My heart just broke for [...]

    19. ~ ARC Provided by Netgalley/Author~Well, this book took me by surprise! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I was expecting the typical, cliche NA college romance books. The guy chases the girl, the girl runs away, the guy keeps chasing, and the girl keeps running. You know what I'm talking about. Enamor was not like that at all. Two mature characters dealing with their issues, and personal issues, head on and together. TOGETHER, you say? That is unheard of in the NA world. Enamor was filled with w [...]

    20. Absolutely Loved It! I don't know where to begin, honestly. This is your typical frenemies - friends-turned lovers romance book but Veronica Larsen just owned it. I loved both characters, liked their banters and I was really impressed by their over-the-top pranks. It's enjoyable to read about. If you need a nice, straight-forward, sweet, cute as hell romance to fill your evening, then this book is for you. <3

    21. Giles could be a real sweetheart, "I never thought I could spend so much time in bed with a girl I wasn't having sex with. Sex is great. But honestly, I'd choose a night sleeping beside you over sex with anyone else. Hands down." I loved how he talked he got me all hot and bothered, "damn it, woman. Quit playing with me," he says, tugging at my hips until my body is pressed tight to his." I enjoyed this book.

    22. LOVED this book! This is my favorite of Veronica Larsen's books. This book is about Julia and Giles. If you haven't read any of the other books, start here. Julia and Giles are roommates. Oh-The slow burn between then is so good. The story and characters were believable, loveable, & funny. The banter between the two is perfect. I loved seeing how Julia and Lex met and became friends too.

    23. This was such a fresh, witty, endearing read that I throughly enjoyed. It's the type of book that has you stopping to take quotes from it. The writing was just simply flawless. Five effortless stars!

    24. I am wading in the afterglow of Enamor today. Completely living in the book coma world of Giles and Julia that I don't want to leave. Veronica Larsen has a beautiful flow of writing. She is able to pull you into the characters world so thoroughly I felt like I was living in their apartment. I was drawn into their lives and it was effortless, riding the same emotional roller coaster Giles and Julia were. I have to say this isn't the first time Veronica Larsen has done this to me. She makes me que [...]

    25. ***On Goodread's rating system this is hovering between 4 and 4.5 but for I'd put it at 5 stars.***I really didn't research the genre of this book properly, and didn't realise it was a New Adult book. Had I done so I probably wouldn't have read this, which would have meant I missed out on one wonderful, heart-warming, well written and meaty read. Being lazy does come in useful sometimes!Giles and Julia don't get off to the best of starts and are room-mates at war. Their relationship evolves int [...]

    26. An emotional book but with lots of laughs also. Giles and Julia are just too much but in a good way. They meet before where she couldn’t stand him to then realize couple minutes later that he’s her new roommate. If you’re looking for insta romance this is not the book to read. This was a very slow build but will keep you wanting to turn the page to see what’s next with those two. Obviously they were attracted to each other but they both had their own demons to fight. Julia was humiliated [...]
