    2. I have read other books by this author and enjoyed them. However, nothing prepared me for this novel. When you read the synopsis and look at the cover, you think gangs and all sorts relating to youth. This book is nothing what I expected. I loved it! 6 young teens that brand themselves as Big Mistakes' rally around to make life bearableis book opens with the funeral of Anna, one of the 'Big Mistakes'. It then leaves you with 5Allie, Bernie, Charlie, Rory and Brandon. These kids go through hell f [...]

    3. so this book, while very entertaining, was not what i thought it would be at all. it really took me by surprise. you go into it thinking "yea life sucks but it will get better" but by the end that doesnt happen. im not saying its a bad way to look at life but the book started with a death and ended with another. i really felt for the characters but connecting with them was hard at times because their motives really didnt click with me. i guess my view of teenagers is different. i see them as mor [...]

    4. Heart-wrenching and haunting tale of growing up hard. The Big Mistake Club will rip you to pieces, and it will stitch you back together again, but once you read it, you will never truly be the same. I literally couldn't put this book down until I was finished. It is a gripping, and gritty, no holds barred story of neglect and abuse that shows a side of growing up that most of us were fortunate enough to never see. I highly recommend this book, but be warned, you may want to stock up on tissues.

    5. The hardest thing in the world is growing up without parents who care. This book is a deep look at kids in need of support and family. When you can't get it any other way, make your own. It is a box of tissue book. Make sure it's a full box and take the time to be able to read this one in one sitting.

    6. This book was a great read. The characters get to your heart. Being a foster parents for so many years and finally adopting a child who had gone through so much. This stuff really goes on. So it's very real and heartbreaking. Yet, these kids don't let anything get in their way and they have each other. Once you pick it up you will not want to put it down. So kick back and enjoy. :-)

    7. Wow!A story about a group of kids who grew up with parents telling them they were the biggest mistakes of their lives. Follow along with these 5 kids in their club called The Big Mistake Club. What an amazing story. I loved it.
