    1. This is a beautiful story that takes you back to a time when life was simple. You are transported to the beautiful valleys nestling amongst the mountains. You can almost taste the coolness of the clear water from the stream as you sit at the waters edge. You are lulled into a false sense of tranquillity. But all is not what it seems. A thoroughly enjoyable read, a book that I shall definitely return to in the future.

    2. My first review on this site since I joined and after reading this book, the first time I was compelled to tap out my opinion for all to see. I'm not a fan of over-written fiction. What a pleasant surprise to read a new book that wastes not a single adjective. A pure and beautiful story that I enjoyed as a fully grown up woman (well most of the time) that I would hand to a child without a second thought. A rarity for sure.
