    1. *** This is a quick feel god Christmas/New Year romance ! ***Bing, 28, blonde and handsome, is an heir to a fortune, where he's worked hard to be successful, and learn. He's engaged to a girl his folks want to merge businesses with. But that changes when he walks in on his best friend having sex with her in the back office, during the party. Meanwhile Xander, dark hair, brown eyes and an eight pack, is remodeling a house he bought on an exclusive island, so it will be ready when his family gets [...]

    2. Gah. Inept writing is inept. Commacide and wonky wording abound. " He distinctively heard "" Entirely against company procedure" " But ever since he got here yesterday and on both instances they'd met, the other guy was downright rude."How does he know the guy's been rude since he got there if they've only met twice? While they're out having dinner "'The fish looks good.' 'Yeah, it's definitely fresh.''They were looking at menus, so how he could know the fish was fresh is beyond me. "Maybe it wa [...]

    3. Too Short, Under Done First, let me say Blue Christmas would have made an amazing full-length story. A man discovers his true path in life even if he has to give up things he thought he needed. For me, I liked both Bing & Xander very much but we needed so much more time and depth to make these two men mean something more. It felt like they were both 19 or 20 when they were dealing with their parents. I wanted more island life and both families' side of things. But alas this was a quick, shor [...]

    4. I enjoyed this story. I loved the MCs. I wish that it had been a full novel so that more development of the characters and their story could have been experienced. I wanted to read more about these two. That is a good thing. My first time reading a story by Avery Ford. I will check out others.

    5. Sweet little festive storyAs this is a novella, it didn't seem to be weighted down with the need for full story development and character building. Both Bing and Xander were fleshed out enough to feel real and to work within the bounds of the short time period the book covered. The steam was low key but the virgin anal sex scene was done well and there had been some background given for why Bing wasn't totally freaked out by his feelings.I liked this pair and could see them with a HEA.

    6. Sweet and BeautifulLoved this book Bing not taking his ex girlfriend excuse for sleeping with his best friend and standing up to his father for who he is and not what his father wants him to be finding Xander and loving him is exactly what Bing needed

    7. This book started out promisingly, but then the plot, characters, and dialog all became generic. It was indistinguishable from a hundred other mediocre gay romances.

    8. Not bad. This is the first book I've read by Avery Ford and I liked it but I didn't love it. The writing didn't flow all that well for me but the story was a good one so I was able to continue on and finish reading it. After a lot of build up it ended a little quickly but I was glad that it had an HEA. I'd be willing to read more from this author.I borrowed this book through Kindle Unlimited.

    9. Sweet storyThis is a well written tale of two men who meet and are unimpressed with each other. Compassion takes over and magic happens. Perhaps it needs a bit of editing. Female girlfriends is odd!

    10. I have never read anything by this author before but was looking for a nice Christmas story. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really loved this book. I already have purchase the other two books by this author and am looking forward to reading them.

    11. This is a good story though, it was too short to really developed the characters. If this story had another hundred or so pages it would be much better.

    12. Short and sweetIt's always sad to succumb to peer pressure, it even worse when it comes from ones own parents. No one should be forced to be someone they're not.

    13. This was nice short but good romantic treat. It wasn't too dramatic. It was just sweet and perfect for the holiday season.
