    1. Another book in Veronica Scott's The Sectors SF Romance Series. Miriell's planet was attacked and she and many of her people are captured. She is sold to an organized crime syndicate who want to use her powers. Conner Stewart is a Combine Enforcer and finds himself attracted to the strange green woman. But he can't let anything interfere with his job. Another enjoyable addition to the series. This one has an epilogue that brings some closure to the story. Good series and highly recommended to Sc [...]

    2. 3.5 stars Oddly - or maybe not - I have the same complaint about this book as I did about the previous book I read in this series. The romantic platitudes are ridiculously flowery and melodramatic until the very end - they're perfect for the HEA, just not the first time the characters start indicating they have feelings for each other. And it's not just saying "I love you" too soon, it's that "You're the only thing that has ever truly mattered to me and I'll do anything for you because I've fall [...]

    3. Danger in the Stars kept me on the edge of my seat and is my favorite Sectors sci-fi romance so far. Author Veronica Scott puts her characters Miriell and Conor between a rock and hard place. I loved the strength and vulnerability of both characters, and how they teamed up to fight the villains—who were well crafted also. The world-building is real and believable. Awesome story and plotting. Loved the ending! If you like sci-fi romance, get this book!

    4. Strong premise featuring an enslaved telepath and the dangerous man who comes to be her protector--or rather, partner since they take turns saving each other. The beginning hooked me and the pacing pulled me swiftly along. While part of the author's Sectors universe, it stands well alone.Quibble: I wish Mirielle's powers had been spelled out a little more, what she could and could not do.

    5. I received a free copy from the author and voluntarily reviewed it.Last year I read Stowaway by Veronica Scott that was part of the Pets in Space collection. I liked the story and when I found out she had written two more stories about empaths that loosely connect to that one, I was eager to dive into them. I am glad I finally got to read this one. Danger in the Stars is a great sci-fi romance with action, danger, romance and even a touch of fantasy and religion. I also liked the few hints we go [...]

    6. A do love a good sci-fi romance with danger, high stakes, and love found in unexpected places. In this case, the high stakes are Miriell and Conor's lives, the danger is EVERYWHERE, and the love is smokin'.Miriell is one of the psychics stolen from her planet and held captive by the deadly group known as the Amarotu Combine. Forced to do terrible things with her power, the only thing that keeps her going is the thought that one day she would have her revenge on her her captors. Since I'm ALL FOR [...]

    7. Miriell, a powerful priestess on her home planet, was kidnapped along with quite a few of her people and sold to the leading organized crime organization, the Amarotu Combine. Whenever they want her cooperation to use her power to kill or manipulate people, they not only put a bomb device around her neck, but they hold her sister hostage as well. On one such assignment, she encounters Conor Stewart, who is not what he seems. Miriell can see for herself that he’s a good man underneath his tough [...]

    8. After reading Star Cruise: Stowaway in the Pets in Space anthology, I was excited to learn that Veronica had plans to write the story of Tyrelle's sister. Let me say, the word "danger" in the title is a perfect description of the story. From the very beginning, Mirielle's life is in danger as a slave. But when she falls for one of her captors who is far more than he appears to be, she finds herself in numerous deadly situations. This is an edge-of-your-seat story which I loved, and I look forwar [...]

    9. Another great bookLove Veronica scotts tales of derring do amongst the stars. And this was one of the best. Looking forward to the next one

    10. Very good. My first Sci Fi romance and not disappointed at all. The balance between the main protagonist relationship and the story is well done. I also enjoyed this universe.

    11. The decision to read Danger in the Stars was a no-brainer for me after having read Veronica Scott’s Star Cruise: Stowaway in the Pets in Space Anthology. Danger in the Stars, the follow up to Stowaway, continues to develop that crime syndicate known as the Combine, their collaboration with the Shemdylann, and their use of slaves. Specifically, slaves with psychic powers like Miriell, priestess of Thuun.Miriell is an empath. She also seems to have a bit of a telpathic ablity, being able to sens [...]

    12. The Priestess and the Warrior Another exciting Sectors story by a gifted storyteller. The characters are interesting and memorable. The plot has as many twists as a mountain road. My heart ached for the prisoner Miriell as her controller verbally and physically abused her. Only Conor's intervention could save her. No spoiler but the ending was perfect. Great job, Ms. Scott. Another fabulous story.

    13. Miriell is from a race with powers that can make a person do things they would never consider and that makes her a valuable pawn. She is a prisoner and forced to do things to keep her people safe. This time when she arrives she feel a connection and it is to someone who should not make her feel safe. Conor is the second in command to the boss but does not always act as he should. The action here is riveting and the characters up to carrying and keeping the story moving. If you think that you hav [...]
