    1. ***5+++ Stars***“‘You’re like an angel,’ Atticus whispered, his gaze sweeping my face. ‘You’re my angel.’ He dipped his head and kissed my lips.”HO. LY. CRAAAAAAAAAPPP!!!!!!! THIS AUTHOR IS EVERYTHING. THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING. I DIE AND LIVE FOR THIS BOOK. IT WAS EVERYTHING I DIDN’T KNOW I NEEDED. (Did I mention it was everything?)Redmerski seriously always writes exactly what I need AND I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW I NEEDED IT! POST-APOCALYPTIC ROMANCE?! YES. YES YESSSSSS!!!!!Redmers [...]

    2. 4 Hardships, Heroes, Hearts and Love StarsI love JA Redmerski. I’m not sure why she’s going as Jessica Redmerski under this book, maybe because this one isn’t like her other books?I read her books blindly. When I started Everything Under the Sun I soon realized this wasn’t your typical JA Redmerski book. Okay, In the company of killers series isn’t fluffy stuff either, but who knew this would be a dystopian read?I read some of the reviews on and I was disappointed in how many spoilers [...]

    3. "You may be the only good thing left in this world, and I'll be goddamned if I let your light fade."First of all I want to say that I absolutely LOVE Post-Apocalyptic Romances. There aren't that many in that particular genre, so I was out of my mind excited when I heard that one of my favorite authors was writing a book in that genre. My expectations were high because I know Jessica's writing is amazing. However, she surprised me with this book (in a very good way). This book shows again that th [...]

    4. Not rating this one because I'm putting it down for now. =/ I loved the beginning but for whatever reason I lost interest towards the middle. I had to put this down for a few days but I haven't had the urge to pick it back up. In all fairness I've been in one hell of a book funk so maybe I'll pick it back up soon ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    5. 4.5 starsWhat a ride this book was from first page to the end (I want to string someone up right now). EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN delivered on a gripping story set in post-apocalyptic US with all the things you might imagine, vigilantes, savages, dictators, starvation and the ugliness of human beings. However, there is a slow growing romance that underpins the story that is genuine, beautiful and doesn’t detract from the story as a whole. Thais is a good strong heroine, a fierce protector and su [...]

    6. 3.5 starsFrom the very beginning I was on the edge of my seat dying to know what was going to happen. There were so many parts I loved but I also thought there were a lot of slow parts. Overall, I enjoyed it.

    8. No no no no! That fucking ending!! This story constantly had my heart in my throat because what was left of the world surrounding Thais & Atticus was dangerous at every little step. All I just wanted was them to find the world they deserve and their HEA, however it turns out it's not a standalone. There'll be a part 2 releasing, In a way, I'm glad because I refused to believe "the bitter truth" is the actual end I was crying and screaming in denial. And now I will be slowly dying in the agony [...]

    11. Holy cliffhangers, Batman!COME ON!I know it looks like I was struggling or not liking the book because it took me forever to read it. I mean, it IS over 800 pages. But that wasn't the case at all. On the contrary, I was loving it. It FINALLY got me out of my book funk! I thought my reading mojo had left the building, never to come back. But alas, he has returned! Thank goodness it came back when this book was released. What a story.

    12. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. OH MY GOSH!! This book was soI can even think. The world is a crazy place and this book brought by you up close and personal with all the good and the bad. The trials that Atticus and Thais endure are so unreal. They're trying to get across the country and it seemed like every time they took one forward, someone, or something, knocked them two steps back. My heart was in my stomach entire time. I'm not even kidding. This was a romance but it had a whole lot more. They wan [...]

    14. I love Jessica Redmerski. That's a truth. But that's not enough for me to like the book, and I'm not afraid to give 1 star if I didn't like a novel. Well with "Everything Under the Sun" there is no such a thing like 1 star. No. Because, I really and I mean REALLY love this book. I don't feel like my opinion matters, so you don't have to read what I'm writing right now, but I don't have any other way to say to Jessica, how I feel after reading this novel, and I really want to do that, soJessica R [...]

    15. I can not even begin to put into words how amazing this book was but omg I can NOT believe that ending I'm dying why oh why!! So this book is like nothing I have ever read but it's everything it runs a little slow but in away that is needed and so appreciated every word and of interaction has meaning more than you will know I thought this book would be a stand alone but as kept getting closer the 100% mark I was completely thrown off because there was no way at all the book could be ending and n [...]

    16. Same Review Also Posted In My Blog: Dreamy Addictions"I've chosen you every step of the way, in every breath, with every bit of my broken heart and broken soul, and I choose you now, and tomorrow, and every day after it!"I loved Jessica Redmerski aka J.A. Redmerski's Killing Sarai from In The company of Killers series, and also The Edge of Never. So I really hoped this would be a great read. Everything Under The Sun is a heartfelt love story! I totally fell for this book when I first saw its bea [...]

    17. This was my very first J.A. Redmerski book, why the hell did it take me so long to read one?! I'm a complete idiot for leaving it so long because Jessica is a word goddess. Truly. This was such an incredibly beautiful book to me even when both MC's are dealing with some very painful things in their past and present . that will haunt their future in the bleak and hopeless world they now live in. But despite all that, one way or another, by the end of the book they weren't letting anything or any [...]

    18. Oh Boy, where do I begin with this one. First, this book is long. I mean it is LOOOOONGke 800+ pages long. There were moments throughout the story that I felt it dragged a bit but then we were thrown into another situation that kept me on the edge of my seat. This was a great "end of the world as we know it" type book. I've read my fair share of these but most of them involved people morphing into other things (Vampires, Zombies, even bugs!). This book was more realistic and could actually happe [...]

    19. This book was a hell of a ride that's for sure! It's becoming harder and harder to find a good dystopia book and jessica Redmerski did that brillantly. Atticus was an alpha, a complex and multidimentionnal character like I love them, and thais was wonderful, my only disappointment with her was at the end (view spoiler)[When she thinks atticus is dead, her reaction was a let down, like i understand it a bit, but she wasn't devasted enough, the author took the entire book to build this incredible [...]

    20. This sounds kinda like a mixture between An Ember In the Ashes and These Broken Stars, and I am here for it.

    21. This book was longgg. It was interesting enough, but nothing really sucked me in. Both Atticus and Thais went through so much crap! There were just some scenes that seemed so over-dramatic that I kind of rolled my eyes and scanned through - mostly with Atticus not feeling he was worthy of Thais because she was so good and he was so bad was much nicer when he finally let himself love her. I was not expecting a cliffhanger - I had to re-read twice because the ending confused me at first. I don't k [...]

    22. Oh. My. God!I just finished, like a minute ago, and my heart is beating so fast. I have know idea how J. Redmerski keeps pulling this off. I've read everything from her some amazing and some okay, but every story is so unique from the other. And for this reason she is one of my favorite authors. She has truly outdone herself with Everything Under the Sun! This is a lengthy novel, about 700(ish) pages. I read a few reviews prior to reading the book that the story slowed down about halfway through, [...]

    23. This book was everything. I was craving a dystopian romance novel and then I saw this in my kindle suggestions. Our main character, Thais has been in this post apocalyptic world for years. She’s a well adapted innocent young woman- living off the land with her sister and father. When her small village is attacked by raiders Thais and her blind sister hide in a cave. Unfortunately they get captured and are brought to Lexington City. This town is awful for women. Women become a wife of a polygam [...]

    24. What an amazing book! Now that I had the time to process it all I'm able to form a proper review. It was nerve wrecking, captivating, cruel, beautiful and ALL the feels in between. This book had me constantly on the edge. I think it even cost me some of my years. I'm totally blown away.Thais, just being 19 years, is such an incredible woman. She's beautiful inside and out. Never giving up believing in the good in this (or the new) world. Never giving up on Atticus. Never failing to amaze. The tra [...]

    25. This is a very difficult book to rate, mostly because it is SOOOOO long! So much happens that it feels like the equivalent of three books so I'm going to have to average out my rating for an overall. On the plus side, it is very well written and kept me engaged even though it took a lot longer than I would normally spend on one book. At times I couldn't decide if the length was frustrating or good because it meant the story went on longer. Probably the only reason this isn't a 5 star read for me [...]

    26. I really hate it when this happens Or rather, I find it so heartbreaking. But this book was a DNF for me. I loved everything about this book except for one thing, Thais. This book is so beautifully written and I was really hanging off every word. I loved the complexity and dimension of Atticus’ character (I guess dark and tormented does it for me), and I really, really thought this was going to become one of my new favourites, but Thais’ character just annoyed the living shit out of me. Sigh [...]

    27. 4 STARSI am in two minds about this review. On the one hand, this book is everything I hoped for in a dystopian romance - a realistically bleak, cautionary glimpse of a society that has been thrown into chaos and order is established by the strongest and the most vocal. And the romance was slow, touching, believable, even if perhaps Thais didn't have the most choice. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there was something missing; some magic that made me want to stay up all night reading this [...]

    28. I went into this book going blind. I am so happy I did! I have read Redmerski's other work and this really does not compare to what she has written before. She brought Thais Fenwick and Atticus Hunt to life in this story. The feelings you feel for Thais and her family and the struggle that she went through, as well as Atticus struggle. It is a lengthy book, but I would not have had it any other way. When I got to the end. I was wanting more, needing more. I can not wait for the second installmen [...]
