    1. Clean sweet romanceThis is my first Daniel Banner book. I thought reading a book about firefighters written about firefighters should be good. Well it was. Full disclosure, I didn’t like the character JFK in the other books in this series that I already had read, so I had been on the fence about reading this one. Getting to see inside his head and finding out why he was like he was definitely made me like him better. The book starts off with JFK frustrated at how all his fellow mates at the fi [...]

    2. Romance, clean, series, but stand alone readThis was a cute, fun read. JFK finally gets his story. He has been featured as a side character in the other novellas in this series. Always a bit of a rough character, kind of a jerk. He softens up in this as he gets to know Mercy, and we see his heart in this one. I always love a character with a hurting heart that isn't sure of themselves. His bluster and his kindness to others made for a beautiful read. Mercy's discovery of his true heart, and his [...]

    3. Great new read! This is another great new read from Daniel Banner! The characters are flawed and relatable. Even the character who I thought I would never understand or relate to (in previous books) is so relatable! I loved how this book discussed perceptions, stereotypes, and overcoming judgement from others. Sweet, clean, I'd rate it PG. It does mention alcoholism, but in a tasteful and inspiring way.

    4. I actually liked JFK!JFK has always been the most annoying/awful character in the series and I was curious if Banner could make him a sympathetic guy. He did a pretty good job with a back story and an impetus and hope for change. I could wish for a little more info and emotion on the characters' struggles with alcohol, but we get a fair look at their problems with self-esteem and relationships. Neither character is perfect, but they're good together.

    5. Redeeming LoveI love this book and these breathtaking characters with a heart gold and challenging life stories thatLet you see what happens to make these two people perfect for each other.

    6. JFKFinding love isn't easy but for JFK and Mercy it is more of a challenge than for most. JFK has no manners and Mercy is two years sober. I really enjoyed the book because of the two flawed characters as they grew together.

    7. GreatI really love this story.Well written ,great characters, heartwarming,I highly recommend reading this story and the whole series is wonderful.
