    1. This book was recommanded to me by a friend who has been a vegetarian all his life and had many vegetarian books in his kitchen. He recommanded two books to me, and this was one. It is a wonderful introduction to vegetarian cooking thanks to the lenghtly introduction where all ingredients are described (nutrition properties and best ways to store and cook them), lots of pictures provided. The cooking part is very well illustrated, the final results and the intermediary steps are in pictures. The [...]

    2. This is such a wonderfully fantastic book. It is not your average vegetarian cookbook, either. The whole first part of the book is actually teaching you about the different types of foods, food groups, general nutritional value, and also their nutritional value for vegetarians specifically. The rest is filled with yummy and interesting recipes, from all over the world, just as the title states. 3. I love New Vegetarian Kichen by Nicola Graimes, so when I saw this book, I had to get it. (She is the editor.) It does not disappoint. And, wonderfully, almost all of the recipes are easy to make, from standard [...]

    4. My all-time most used cookbook so far. I am not a vegetarian, but wanted to learn ways to make vegetable dishes that are delicious, and I haven't been disappointed by this book. I have been using it heavily for years and will probably continue to do so for many more :)

    5. I've really been enjoying cooking lately. Once I learned how to do a few simple basics, the more complex recipes don't seem as intimidating.
