    1. If it wasn't really enough to find a book dedicated to this subject, Shirley Smith has produced an extraordinarily thorough reference guide to Hen on Nest dishes. I simply can make no complaints about it. History, terminology & glossary, 2007 market values are included. Glassware is divided into American, European & Asian manufacturers; there are colour photos throughout. Since I don't actually own a single Hen on Nest dish, this book serves as my virtual collection album.
