    1. Banners is another obscure poetry book I found from the library book sale this year. It’s a old, tatted, deckled edge book from 1919. It’s the works of Babette Deutsch. I never heard of her and though her poetry put me to sleep from time to time, or my mind wandered mid stanza, there were a few beautiful gems. She writes beautifully. The only critisicm I have is that some of her poems were unneccessarily long. Her shorter poems had more of a impact and sparkling effect while her longer ones [...]
