All is forgiven when the hero explains to the heroine that the disgusting, child-beating, alcoholic OW he was kissing passionately happened only because he is a man with a man's needs, and he closed his eyes and pretended OW was the heroine.Must remember to use that line next time hubby catches me in a passionate embrace with Brad Pitt.

    2. Sort of skimmed through this one after I realized I had already read it. I didn't much care for this one. His explanation when he kissed Stephanie was pathetic. Really he kissed her so enthusiastically because he was pretending she was h? I also thought h taking off with kids was irresponsible and that she had put their lives in danger. In reality what she did could have resulted in tragedy and was worse than Stephanie slapping the little girl.
