    1. Okay. I admit. I am in love with this character. Rickie is the party girl of the trio, the one who never gets serious with a guy, the one with flings you need all of your fingers and toes to count. She's the intruder to Anna and Chrissy's longtime friendship. She's the daughter who is not as talented, pretty, and ma-PR as her older sister, Lexie. She stays out late at night to party with her gay friend Bryan and to hook up with boys. Eventually, she chose to be with Jaime, Anna's ex, much to the [...]

    2. at first i don't like it because it seems like chrissy-the-selfish-girl-again, but rickie was different and she is the girl-who-tries-to-look-selfish but deep inside wanted someone who could understand her and wants to commit to someone (despite her numerous flings each lasts only for weeks, with no commitment, no strings-attached and with known ending before it even begins). this is the first book of miniano that i really liked despite of it being the complicated and undecided-heroine. i liked [...]

    3. In a group of friends, there are always roles. There’s the witty one, there’s the nice one, and there’s the popular one, the one who likes to party, drink and gets into flings all the time. That is Rickie.Rickie is the “bad girl” friend of Anna and Chrissy, from the Every Girl’s Guide series by Marla Miniano. Rickie is surrounded by good girls — from Anna and Chrissy to her older sister, Lexi, who she thinks is perfect. Rickie fits into her role pretty well, doing exactly what other [...]

    4. I don’t why I chose to review this book even thou it’s the third book in the series but YOLO right? XD Anyway, this is the second book I have read in the series, and to tell you the truth I got really hooked in the first book. So here it goes,One thing to describe this book is SIMPLE, simplicity is beauty right? But not with Rickie, our protagonist in the story. She likes to party, drink and gets into flings all the time. Not so simple, I can say. That’s what set her apart to her close to [...]

    5. I remember reading this back when I was in high school. Rikkie and I are very similar to each other (I am half Rikkie half Anna when it comes to sarcasm and looks though!). I love the character because she's flawed in so many ways yet she developed into a better person. Also, the story is sweet and funny and rereading the book even after so many times still leaves you with the "awww" feeling. I love this simple, chick-litt that's perfect for readers looking for a light, feel-good read.

    6. I was torn between giving this 3 or 4 stars. I believe that endings impact how you see the book, because it is a portion of the whole. I really liked the ending however, I thought the author was veering for another Jaime and Rickie thing at the end. But it turned okay I guess. Rickie managed to stay friends with a guy with whom she has slowly but surely developed feelings with. It's nice to see a little something permanent and not just a passing fling.

    7. Book #37 for 2012: Finished reading this book in less than 2 hours in the car on our way to a meeting. The book is about Rickie, the resident party girl of the barkada. As a self-declared reformed party girl (haha :P), I found myself smiling and laughing at some of Rickie's antics. Read this book if you just want to be free of pa-deep stuff and you just want to de-stress. A fun read (care ko sa mga sasabihin ng mga pa-deep and profound readers out there :P).

    8. Finally! Rickie's my favorite among the three girls. She never fails to crack me up and I can really relate to her personality. I know how it feels to be the plus one in a group of friends and it does suck. The story was great and I just really love Rickie. Nicely done. :)

    9. Rickie is such a lovable character! You'll laugh with her, get frustrated with her, but all in all, you'll cheer for her. A book you will want to read over and over again. Every Girl's Guide to FLINGS is addicting and refreshing at the same time :)

    10. Rickie is such a fun, crazy character--but deep down, she's a girl who just wanted to be loved, and to feel special. It's a witty, cute book.
