    1. The Outlaw’s Wife, by E. Jamie: 3 “Monica Clean” StarsHERE’S A UNINTERESTING FACT ABOUT ME: Monica Geller from Friends* ain’t got nuthin’ on me.I own 6 vacuum cleaners! If there’s a bit of debris, dust, or dirt hiding in my home, I will find it and I WILL VACUUM IT! And when I’m done vacuuming, I vacuum my vacuums. So, it’s no surprise that I find the lack of personal hygiene in some erotic romances, especially the historical western ones, a tad off putting. Because, let’s fac [...]

    2. Disclaimer: I bought the book and waited to read it when the synopsis was not clear in my mind anymore. I enjoy more this way.The story begins in a way that got me chills of excitement even when I didn't knew what was happening at that exact same moment.I could so easily picture Katie in that scene and it was the grabbing moment for me.I'm not much to read historical romances but I got used to the world of them during the year. I don't usually look for them but from time to time I found this pre [...]

    3. I am not big on short stories. Even more so in historicals. I thought the author did an ok job relaying the story. There were several questions I think she could answered by the end but that is neither here nor there. Basically the leading couple has a marriage of convienence before he is scheduled to be executed. Little did she know that he would be back later and they would have to get to actually know each other and try to convince him that a normal life with her and a family is the best futu [...]

    4. Redemption had me hooked from the get go with Katie being scared by her supposedly dead husband. She saw him last at a gallows and here he is standing in her kitchen. Ben has a sweet hardness to him that compliments Katie’s shy but determined demeanor. Watching these two married strangers become accustomed to each other, falling in love in between very hot lovemaking sessions made this book a fantastic read. Ms. Jaime created the perfect romantic western in my opinion!

    5. Very short, only 70 pages long. It wasn't able to fill in all the blanks and left you with many unanswered questions. Maybe if it was a bit longer and able to answer the many questions then it would have deserved a higher star rating.

    6. Read this book shortly after it was published, but it still remains on my Kindle as an "oldie but goodie." The book starts quickly with the return of the main H. We then learn in flashback H and h's history. Sorry, I read this so long ago that I don't remember their names. However, I remember that I liked this book enough to read again. At the time, I found the plot to be familiar and yet unique. We have hte "bad" hero who has done things he shouldn't have, but is on the road to redemption. We ha [...]

    7. Review Blurb:I appreciated that Katie had been awakened sexually by her husband for one amazing night, only to have it snatched away. No wonder she experiments with herself in his absence, playing over the images of their joining as a means to rekindle the desire Ben ignited within her. Please see full review at Just Erotic Romance Reviews: bit/tSkJyA

    8. My first historical western romance. This is a really short read. Could probably qualify as a novella, rather than a novel. Actually, the writing was quite good with the exception of the major plot point, which happened without explanation or discussion. I'd like to know how the heroine's uncle found her all of a sudden. But there was no description of that information. We'll never know.
