    1. This is a great way to take a look back on what history has offered us. Everything from chastity belts to macrame. All the fab and not-so-fab things.I really loved reading about some of these things, especially from the older centuries that I wasn't able to partake in. The things people did or the way they lived is fascinating, and yet, I'm so glad I don't have to live that way.A really great read for anyone, any age.     2. a highly chapterized book of pretty disconnected stories. Try this as a bed time read, it will surely put you to bed.Hindsight is always 20:20, and it is not even funny to poke jokes on normal human behavior. It does not even touch on some of the worst habits of human history.Sorry.

    3. Presented century or decade wise, this book goes over the absurdities that each period engaged in. Most interesting was what we do today that could become fodder decades from now, like 160 character messages, paying money to not go to a gym and ugg boots, among many others.
