    1. Possibly the worst collection of comics I have ever read. Not that most of them didn't have plenty of potential but they were all just teasers for other publications. The book really should have been given away for free as it's just a sampler to entice you to buy other collections that might contain more complete stories if you found any of these particularly interesting.

    2. Like all the best showcase anthologies, "Myspace Dark Horse Presents 4" brings some fine samplers of what's out there on the Dark Horse label (and others who aren't). Eric Powell's "The Goon" is one of the best comics series out there and included here is a short, whacky story of Goon and Franky going to a bar and beating up some fishy folk. Other strips included: Mike Mignola's BPRD is included with a young Professor Bruttonholm spending the night in a ghostly church; Chris Onstad's "Achewood" [...]

    3. Fun, though very much a hodge-podge: each story was radically different from the others and switching so quickly between diverse tones and even graphic styles was a bit mind-bending. Still, some real jewels here, in particular the one-off Whedon-penned Buffy story that opens the collection. Was also pretty fond of Dave Chisholm's gritty desert reunion tale and Mike Mignola's little gothic bit. Worth a look, though not all of these are worth a read.

    4. Not bad. Some Farel, some Marquis, a bunch of stuff I didn't really understand. Hit or miss, as you'd expected, but the good is pretty good. Since this is reprinting online content, I'd read a lot of the stuff that I knew beforehand was interested in, but there was enough interesting stuff that was new to make it worthwhile.
