    1. Beautiful illustrations and good cooking tips. Most of the recipes were easy but ingredients not always easy to find (daikon). If you like cookbooks you will enjoy the encyclopedia series, if you want a cookbook that you want to have on your bookshelf for a couple of years and skim through but not use often, this will work. :-)
