    1. This would be a good book to read if your someone who doesn't know much about exorcism. I myself am not sure what I think about this story. I guess I'm more of a seeing is believing sort of person, but I really don't want to see something like this if it does in fact exist so I guess I'll never know. The things described in this book are truelly frightening. I must admit I lost some sleep while reading this book. Although I have some strange fear of the dark I don't usually sleep with my light on [...]

    2. A few years ago, I would have considered books like this hogwash; but after experiencing demonic oppression myself, it made a believer out of me. It was the most terrifying experience of my life that took several years for me to heal. Some of what happened in this book happened to me at only 12 years old after a relative gave me a Ouija board. Nights and days were filled with terror, so much that I attempted suicide. Only by leaving for college did I finally escape it. Years later, I met Elaine [...]

    3. Fascinating and truly terrifying true life account of the exorcism of a French farmer named Maurice Theriault. This is another well documented case involving leading Demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren.

    4. After reading The Demonologist, it started my love for non-fiction horror. What I can say about this book is that is was ok for reading. Its not "highly horrifying", has an interesting story of possession that covers the whole story of the person involved, from childhood to adult, and which could be the causes of his possession. And how that progressed thru his life, his actions, and how that affected everyone involved in this path. Its a good read? Yes. Its highly horrifying? No. Its mostly a sto [...]

    5. I was expecting a book that focused on all the scares in the story of this haunting, but was pleasantly surprised that there was quite a bit of time spent on some character backstory. A fair amount of the book delves into the life story of the afflicted individual, and it makes for a very interesting read. There's still all the freaky occurrences and spooky happenings for those who love that sort of thing.

    6. This book was alright. I expected better. It was definitely scary but I wasn't too thrilled over the storyline. It dragged and it got old towards the end. The things that happened were expected and had no element of surprise.
